sofia · 23 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery

I love the twins, have I told you that? I don't know why, but it seems I have a 'thing' for fictional twins and I LOVE reading about them! Okay... that was not relevant to the plot at all, I don't think. Love the chapter. Update soon, please!

harrowcat · 23 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery

TBC ? Yes I definitely think 'evil' is an apt description! Having just read straight through to this point - more please and SOOOOOOOOOOON!

ponypetter · 23 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery

I just read all of this. I love it, especially the part where the hobbits arrive. I can't wait until you post more!

eliza · 23 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery

Wow Sheraiah, what a great chapter. Yep your villian is definitely a rat b*stard but he is a great villian and just like the movies some times a good "baddie" really makes the story. ( plus I just know he will get his in the end. LOL) I enjoy the twins, gimili and Thranduil also. It's nice to see them have nice parts in your story. Not to long for an update OK. Eliza

Can't wait to see Thranduils reaction to all this when he once again gets bettter, no one hurts his son and goes unpunished!! Hope Legolas will get better soon (Don't really believe that you would kill him off or at least i hope you dont!!!

I suppose it's a good thing that both Thranduil and Legolas were affected - if either one had eaten the whole of the pastry, it would surely have been fatal. I'm impressed by how brisk and efficient Aragorn and the twins are - no messing around, they all know exactly what to do and do it. Their prompt actions (and thank goodness they turned up when they did!) saved both, I think. Finally, I really like how Serai has progessed until she is able to joke with and 'bully' Elladan and Elrohir. Thank you for the 'twin moment' when they blame each other for her cheek - I love those! Jay

You are heartlessly evil and I mean that in the best way. Seriously this is a wonderful story and I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Thanks for writing Jule

Maid of Ithilien · 22 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery

An update!! :) And another cliff-hanger :( But you are so good at them. I think the conversations the characters have are wonderful. I especially liked Thranduil's comment about Gimli - “He grows on one like fungus on a tree, does he not?” Great story -- I hope you can update soon.

Hi Sheraiah, I started reading this story in the Thranduil yahoo group up to chapter 8 so I dropped by here via Mary's referral and began to read the rest. This is good, good, good. So when can I expect another update? I hope they catch that evil man that poisoned Legolas and Thranduil. I hope they don't die please say that they are not dead....What about Sarai? I hope she didn't eat any of that food. I will try my best to wait for the rest. If you have a recent update on it please direct me to it. Thank you. Lynn

elliska · 6 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

Oh now that is a very evil cliffhanger. I was so enjoying seeing Thranduil's protectiveness of the girl and Legolas enjoying the elven recipes. I had to read the last part twice just to make sure I got it right. Awful! Please don't leave us hanging for too long! Great chapter!

Galimeril · 6 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

AHHHHHHHHHH! YOU EVIL, HORRIBLE, MEAN, AWFUL THING!!!! You are sooooooo terrible you must be friends with the writers of LOST!!!! All they ever do is end on cliffhangers!!! AGHHHHHH! *pulls out hair and begins jumping madly around the room* How could you!!! I love this story! If you don't update soon I'm going to go NUTS not knowing what happens! Save my sanity please! AHHHHHHHH! UPDATE SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

emjo · 5 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

Oh please hurry with the next update! I'm loving this story!

Bodkin · 5 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

I love Thranduil's gentleness with that poor girl. Serai is lucky to have obtained his care - I think the rest of her life will be much better for it. Provided he and Legolas survive the poisoning, of course. What a mean way to leave the poor pair! I hope they don't remain writhing around the floor in agony for too long. It's just a good thing that the hobbits and Serai avoided eating the Mirkwood baklava - I suspect they would have been more vulnerable to the effects of the poison. I only hope that Aragorn has an antidote in his pocket - athelas pills, maybe. Update soon, please!

Maid of Ithilien · 4 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

I don't think I've reviewed before but I've been reading this story since the beginning and I've enjoyed it so much (other than the cliffhangers that is :). I think the relationship that you portray between Legolas and Thranduil is wonderful and probably the way that it really was. Keep up the good work and I hope you'll be able to update soon!!

sofia · 4 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

oh come on! I was so into it and then you just have to cut the story off. Stop doing that! Well... please please please update soon! -sofia

phoenix23531 · 4 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

I'll have you know that I just spilled tea on myself at that cliffhanger. *scowling* Please, please, please continue this story soon! I love the way you have developed relationships between characters, and I'm anxious to know what happens to Serai. All the best, E.

eliza61 · 4 May 2005 · Chapter 11: Subterfuge and food

Wonderful, wonderful story. I can't believe your cliff hangers. They are absolutely devious(smiling gleefully). I enjoy your Thranduil character. I never believed he was as evil as some writers protray him, I mean what with Leggy being as great as he is he had to get it from some where? Hope all is well & you will be able to update soon.!!

Amauros Thoughts · 4 February 2005 · Chapter 10: Nightmares and Treachery

Oooh! I do hope he gets caught, possibly by the Twins =0 > I cant cant cant wait for you to update! Yayuh!!!!! Ali

Bodkin · 23 January 2005 · Chapter 10: Nightmares and Treachery

Strange but true - I was thinking about this story the other day (Thursday, I think) and hoping that there would be another chapter soon! I'm glad to see Legolas is getting better - but I am rather concerned about the baddies wandering around inside Aragorn's citadel. Those guardsmen clearly haven't got the sense they were born with - any girl under the protection of the King, the Elvenking and the twins should be left alone! But at least it got her able to speak to Thranduil without fainting, so maybe it'll be a good thing in the long run. But Lithmor - he seems to have a lot of nasty schemes in his mind. I hope they get him soon. And the big boss he is afraid will polish him off. Looking forward to more.

sofia · 22 January 2005 · Chapter 10: Nightmares and Treachery

Yay! another chapter! I liked this one. Had Legolas and/or Thranduil told anybody about the voice being Lithmor's? Can't wait for more. -sofia

Robinscat · 22 January 2005 · Chapter 10: Nightmares and Treachery

PS--I'm so sorry. I just realized this is the first time I reviewed this. I've been reading it since you first posted it and I love your other stories (especially Of a Father and a Son) as well. I used to be more of a lurker but I recently have been trying to be a better reviewer. But I really thought I'd reviewed this one before since I have been enjoying it so much. So sorry!
