Wonderful start to a new story! I love the idea that Eomer had been to MT before the war. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I've not really thought that Eomer would have visited Gondor before the war, but it makes sense. Nice glimpse at Lothiriel and Faramir. Eomer feels real, perhaps unusually mature for a fifteen-year-old boy, but still realistic. An apricot-loving little princess is not probably what he expected to find in Minas Tirith!

Certainly some of the Rohirrim some visited Gondor, so why not Eomer - it gives another scenario to write about. I think EOmer would have had to grow up fast. LBJ

What a lovely and welcome chapter and looking forward to the next. I loved your depiction of the younger versions of my favorite characters, eomer's gift to his sister made me smile, he is such a sweetie.
