· Chapter 30: Don’t Close Your Eyes
She's back and already we have another possessed elf! And a cliffie! Mild by your evil standards, but still a cliffie. Have you no shame? Poor Elladan. Also, poor us. A possessed twin. *sighs sadly* They can cause a lot of trouble even when not possessed, these twins.
Welcome back! Glad you did not encounter orcs. *wonders what happened to that contingent she sent searching for you? Orcs are stupid creatures. Probably lost somewhere. Fortunately, the Dottir never pays troops in advance.*
Humble Scribe to His Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
I think the orc contingent either lost their way or got caught by customs :P You do need passports to get to Singapore. Somehow I don't think they have any. LOL!!

Singapore? really? i live in China (though i am american), and have friends who are from Singapore. where do you live now?
~Una
Author's reply
I'm in Malaysia :) What are you doing in China? Working? :)
Hmm, the bed sounds entirely too comfortable. We're trying to stay awake here. Tell Erestor to throw another teabag into his pot or we could have trouble. Nice chapter! I like Elrond's warmth. His self-control can obscure that at times. I'm also glad that Aragorn seems not to have been the murderer of the evil chief. Aragorn is a sensitive soul beneath his unwashed exterior.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
P.S. You need only be concerned it you sleep at night, my lady. An incubus or succubus (depends on which gender they attack) are demons that attack while their victim sleeps. I do not know if they have them in Singapore!
Author's reply
Yes, bed is very comfy and soft... nice bed. *snore* No tea can keep them awake for long. Hehehe. They've gotta sleep someday.
Can't have Aragorn be the murderer. That's not good. Some readers will not like it and they may try to hurt me. :P
I sure hope they don't have this incubus or succubus thingy here. I'm in Malaysia, not Singapore. We have much worse demons here which I don't even want to know. LOL!

Oh poor Aragorn. I sense a serious guilt trip coming. I also sense several sleepless nights in the future of these guys! More soon please!
Author's reply
Ohh... you're gonna find out later that it may not be entirely Aragorn's fault *g* Oops, not suppose to say that but that's okay since I'll be going away for another 2 weeks starting Nov 30 so a little hint will make up for my absence. LOL! My next post may be the last one till Dec 14. *runs*

Oh, oh! She's back with the cliffies again.
I had best be careful or you will turn me into a card-carrying Aragorn sympathizer. Good chapter.
My lady, do the words succubus/incubus have meaning here? *shudders at the thought and tiptoes off to feed the great spiders, who are starting to look very fair in comparison*
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
No idea what succubus/incubus means. :P Should I be concerned? :D And don't feed them too much, they may start to get lazy. LOL!
Excellent story. Great use of plot twists and suspense, and your characterisation is spot-on.
Author's reply
Ohh... thank you :D BTW, I just won tickets to LOTR marathon and ROTK premiere! WOOHOO!!! :D :D :D *dances around you*

Nice chpater. You got a few things explained for poor Elrond. Who will be possessed next? I can't wait for your next chapter!

Someone will be possessed next and he would be the last one. :)

Yes, send for Mithrandir! This seems beyond the dark elf Elrond. My liege, in his prozac fog, is still concerned for his son. Only he is allowed to attack one of the Greenleaves after all. At first I did fear a zombie elf but, thank the Valar, mayhap this may not be. You do have to be careful of these mithril boxes. The dwarves thou knowest are prone to release nasty things from confinement.
Yes, no cliffie. Feelest thou well? Should I send a leech from our forest?
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Please inform his Majesty that Prozac is not healthy and he should try not to take it more than the prescribed dose. :P I don't want Legolas to return home and find his father in a drug-induced stupor. :P
And why are you offering to send me a leech? LOL!

Ai, take me now Sauron! I have just had my liege lord Thranduil thrust a knife blade into his foster son's throat and NOW, courtesy of she who brings EVIL, I have Legolas attacking Glorfy and disappearing. Our prince shall never be allowed to set foot in Imladris again if this continues.
Humble Scribe to his currently demented Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
I sure hope you're not his Majesty's foster son. LMAO!! There will be a good explanation to Legolas' weird behavior. Please be patient. :D In the meantime, I'll recomend a good psychiatrist for his Majesty. :P

Author's reply
Oops, didn't know you're hoping for a break. Sorry *eg* But our heroes may get bored if I don't keep them busy. *pouts* :P :D It's so fun keeping them hanging on the cliff. *vbeg*

· Chapter 24: The Calm Before the Storm
You are truly EVIL. May the Valar be blessed that my liege lord still is in the kind care of The Karenator, who has been feeding him balrog fingers and tacos in my absence. Ai! What shall we tell him? Ai! I am going to take steps. I shall send for Gimli and urge him to bring the mighty battle axe of the khazâd. Gimli! The shadows grow upon our land and our prince is yet again in peril! Make haste! We have need of your dwarven wrath.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Ohh, I'm relieved that the King is still enjoying his "snack" and not planning on taking action against my evil deeds. *g* However, let me assure you that dwarven wrath will not be required because your prince will be returning home by the end of the year... hopefully :D

Poor Legolas, you didn't give him very long to relax before you started tort uring him again.
I guess I better battin down the hatches and get ready to ride out the storm!
Please update soon!!

If you don't like this cliffie, you're going to hate the next one because I think it's absolutely evil. *vbeg* So buckle up and hold on to your hat!

· Chapter 23: Journey’s End
Ai! Glorfindel has our prince in his arms. The king is consoled. Imladris hath not his favor but it is better than among those barbarians. I like the "kind lies" that were told to the sufferers to get them through the last of their journey home.
His majesty commands that you update so that we may know the mysteries of what has befallen his son and the other one.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Please tell your Majesty I'm updating as fast as time allows. *angelic smile* The mystery will unveil as the story progresses so please explain to his Majesty and ask him to be patient. :D

· Chapter 22: It’s Only in Your Mind
Sniff! You have me feeling sorry for poor Aragorn. Wait, this could cost me my job! The economy is none too good in Taur-e-Ndaedalos! I demand my prince's safety!
I really did love the last bit with Elrond hating the pain he was causing.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Rest assure that your Prince is safe... although he may be in a little distress. *g*
Struck down by your lack of updates, I pleaded with my king for some R&R and have just returned to my duties here in the the Great Wood. I note that the black squirrels have gained the upperhand in my absence. Life is a constant struggle in Taur-e-Ndaedelos.
The King notes with pleasure that you are again writing and even saw your duty to him and updated during your training. You have earned honor. My liege also acknowledges that Elrond perhaps earned his cup of tea this time. However, the loremaster must not rest upon his laurels for our prince seems yet grievously at risk. We look to his return to the arms of his family. If not, Dagorlad shall seem but a garden party!
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Yes, Elrond definitely earned his cup of tea for all that he was put through. Heh.
Kindly let your Majesty know that Prince Legolas is in good hands and will be returned to him in one piece. :P

Quite nice so far, short in some places, but oh, well. I hope you don't acquire writer's block like I have. I need something to read at 1:30 at night!
Author's reply
I know it's kinda short. The next chapter will be even shorter *hides* I don't post stories before they're all written out so you don't have to worry about writer's block.
However, my brain is stalled on the story I'm working on now. LOL! Care to jump-start it for me? *g*

Yippee, another chappie! Great job, I loved the Legolas stubborness and Estel pain! Great job!
Author's reply
Thank you! Legolas stubborness is so lovable. Hehehe. I love it when he insists that he's fine when he's actually hurting. Makes me want to huggle him and give him lots of TLC :D
That is definetly a much better place to leave off. Now you just need to come back so we can read some more! Sorry I haven't reviewed in such a long time- RL caught up with me! Keep going!
Author's reply
Yep, figured the readers would like it for once... no cliffie. Can't have you hanging for 1 whole week *g* However, I can't say the same for my next training in December. I'll try to end it at a not-so-cliffe chapter. Hehehe. Wish me luck! :D
