Antane · 23 January 2010 · Chapter 9999: Special Characters

Cute about Aragorn explaining about Feanor and why Gandalf used runes. Touching about Eomer's generous heart. Well done addition here. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

shirebound · 23 January 2010 · Chapter 9999: Special Characters

Very clever! I especially like Gandalf's explanation of why he uses the rune.

harrowcat · 18 November 2008 · Chapter 25: Y like a Yawning Yavanna

Ha, ha! I am not sure that being told that someone else is worse off helps the boredom much but I do feel for both of them.

Author's reply

Many thanks for your much appreciated review. It never cheers me up to be told about someone else's worst woes!

inzilbeth · 17 November 2008 · Chapter 26: Z - like zooming around Zirakzigil.

Larner · 16 November 2008 · Chapter 24: X like Excruciating Exertions

Nice means of working the cue phrase into the story! Yes, both exhausted, but exhilerant as well, I'm certain.

Author's reply

Thank you.I'm sure Aragorn loved taking his children on this day out.

Larner · 16 November 2008 · Chapter 25: Y like a Yawning Yavanna

Poor, bored king! Now he knows how Yavannah herself feels indeed! Heh!

Author's reply

I used this as my inspiration for the harvest in "A Time to Reap" though I think Aragorn had more fun there!

Aragorn laughed, then lovingly embraced both children. Together with his fair Arwen, they were the true destination of all his arduous journeys. How true! I love this.

Raksha The Demon · 23 July 2008 · Chapter 21: U = Unsavoury Urges in Umbar

This is one of my favorite of Linda's shorter pieces; an elegant story that recognizes both Aragorn's human frailties and his strength at rising above them. The narrative goes far enough to convey sensuality, but not too far; and the reader can understand Aragorn's attraction.

Author's reply

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you continue to enjoy this story which is quite a change from my usual fare!

Larner · 20 July 2008 · Chapter 21: U = Unsavoury Urges in Umbar

Larner · 19 July 2008 · Chapter 20: T - like a turgid Turgon.

Alas, the belief of youth at a certain point that sees all it doesn't see moving as boring. Heh!

I'm pleased this made you smile, thank you.Maybe Elboron had a boring tutor too!

Larner · 8 June 2008 · Chapter 19: S - Like a Sordid Sauron

Sordid, but in the end destroyed. Love the counsel Aragorn gives.

Author's reply

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Aragorn is a wise man indeed!

harrowcat · 8 June 2008 · Chapter 19: S - Like a Sordid Sauron

I think that you do well with double drabbles. It gives you a little more elbow room to develop the theme. Liked this.

Author's reply

Many thanks for your much appreciated review .I'm pleased you liked my attempt at a double drabble.

harrowcat · 8 June 2008 · Chapter 18: R - Like a Radiant Radagast

We never hear enough of Radagast. Faramir was destined for the Rangers rather than the Guard from early in his life it seems. I love sitting in my parents' garden and watching all the birds coming to the feeders. Robins are my favourite. One typo - site rather than side of the garden!

Author's reply

Many thanks for your much appreciated review and for pointing out the typo which i've fixed.I love to see robins too. I love it that Faramir forbids his men to kill wild things for pleasure.

Larner · 25 April 2008 · Chapter 17: Q - like a querulous Quickbeam

Ah, how perfect for the prompt! Heh!

Author's reply

THank you,I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
