· Chapter 3: Hide And Seek - A Drabble (Boromir/Faramir)
Oh, but on the other hand Faramir wouldn’t have THE horn. I would have thought hobbits would have been able to hide well, but it’s Pippin and Merry and they are worried about Frodo…and I guess they aren’t wearing their Elven cloaks—I guess Boromir wasn’t.
[Side Note: Why did he in the movie leave his shield and something else I think, when he went to look for them?]

Oh. Oh my. When did he have this dream? Before he was married, I guess. But if it was afterwards it would be awfully funny.

LOL!!! And Gandalf’s hat?
Fool of a Took! Though maybe if it keeps going the way it ought to, the orcs will be too stupid to realize.
omg beautiful- i'm writing my own Denethor funeral so this is great inspiration. :( This scene is so sad! Written so well!

ohhh i was looking for a farewell like this and this hit all my emotions. Well done. I loved these last words from Boromir to Faramir esp about Denethor and hoping that Faramir won't fall even if Boromir feels like Denethor won't last the in the war.

A very fitting goodbye between brothers. A friend pointed this one out to me and it made me recall your lovely fictions. I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed reading this one. I hope you are well.

This is sad and beautiful. Boromir was responsible for so much and so many for so long, I'm glad he finally found peace and the ability to let go.
Author's reply
If you and the Man from Gondor have taught me anything, it's to let go. Bless you!

You should see the grin on my face!! What a sweet little birthday present you've penned for me! I hope Boromir's Linaewen will return soon to take away his melancholy! :-)

I'm so glad you liked it. I knew I had to do something. Bless you for your friendship and support over these many, many years. Now - hint hint - to get back to the Mumak. Did you happen to notice where 'she' is from? ROTFL

A beautiful moment between the brothers, Agape. Alas for what never happened! Poor Boromir.

I can always hope that there was a moment of joy. Thanks for your review. You know it is most appreciated.

· Chapter 77: The Vanishing Point
Alas, poor Boromir!
I particularly like this piece of description. It brings the scene to life, as if I'm right there. Nice job fitting a whole lot of meaning into just a few words.
Faramir shifted on the hard stone ledge overlooking the Pelennor. The sky, crystal blue as he’d ever seen it, caused him to shade his eyes. Anduin cut through the farmlands below like a great blue-grey ribbon.
Author's reply
Lindelea! You made my day. I've been working on a fantasy, hoping to get it published, and I wasn't happy with it. I realize now, after your comment about the description, that that is what is lacking. Just one or two sentences added to a scene to 'bring it to life.'
BLESS YOU!!!

Oh, but I love Boromir's more clear-headed evaluation of his relationship with his brother. At least he knows that Faramir will be safe in Aragorn's care, and he accepts Aragorn as the King Returned. And the Voice of the Ring is stilled in his heart now that Frodo has chosen his own road. At least he knows that blessing.
Author's reply
Peace. He really deserved some. He goes to the afterlife in peace. I like what Tolkien said about Boromir's face when Faramir sees him in the boat. Peace filled.
Bless you for your comments.

Alas, poor Boromir. I'm glad he found peace at the last.

Me, too! Our Man of Gondor had suffered enough. Even if he did scare the bejeebies out of Frodo. :-)
Thanks for reading.

Vivid imagery! You imagine Boromir's thoughts very well; I love the memory of Faramir's rebuke, and how true it rang in the present circumstance.

Bless you. I love the vivid imagery line.

Ah, Sam. If anyone could do it, he could! (And lovely, and so like him, that the prize money would not be for himself, but for flowers for his mum.)
Author's reply
I just love a good pumpkin patch. I'm not so sure if Sam's Gaffer would enjoy the amount of space these lovely globes take up, but I'm sure his mum would love them. Thanks for commenting!

Very powerful, Agape. Boromir is so tortured, but I'm glad that at the end he found peace. Welcome back. You've been missed.

At least I still read "Tolkien" stuff. I hope to write more.
I needed a bit of peace, too!

Ohhhh, how poignant. I know Boromir found peace somehow. This is well done. *sniff*
Author's reply
Here's one of Bilbo's hankies. He dropped it when he was helping Fili climb out of the barrel. It washed down to the Anduin. Boromir found it and used it in his grief. Aragorn gave it to Faramir. Being a descendant of the Man of Gondor, I happened to get it. I would like it back, when you're finished with it.
BTW - so happy you read and commented.

This touched me so deeply that I cannot find an appropriate comment. My heart has always ached for Boromir. Knowing that all is not lost and his brother will be safe is the only thing that made his passing easier for him.

Bless you. Yes, Faramir has a long and loved-ones filled life ahead of him.

· Chapter 74: Friendship - Four Drabbles (Boromir and Theodred)
It’s bad enough that Boromir foresaw what would happen to Faramir in the future. Had he saw his father as the one trying to set his brother on fire, he would have been devastated.
