I adore the bantering between the two friends, and grieve that they must fight to protect this party of Mankind. But if any can do it, Legolas and Gimli will be able to do so. I'm glad they joined the blacksmith's party after all, and hope the aid of other Silvan elves isn't needed.

Abrum seems a good sort - and Legolas and Gimli will be very useful additions to the trip. Their journey will be swifter, too, if they have milk on tap rather than having to coax milk donations from passing does. Looking forward to more!

Oh how I am loving this story,Legolas and Gimli just are so adorable with the little baby,I really hope the man who left her in the woods is gonna get his before this story ends and hilarious an elf and a dwarf siblings that was good. Will be waiting for more!

Angry elf-lords... Now there's an image. And it sounds as if there is no better object for their wrath than the delightful Restor. It's not just the baby that needs rescuing, either. It would seem that Kesta is in pretty serious need of help, too. (Love the does' milk donation. I'm sure that the baby will thrive on it!)

I always find it comical to read (or see) males dealing with infants. Especially when they don't know what they're doing! I think if you had Gimli at a loss it would be even more comical than Legolas. And I can't wait to see some interaction with Thranduil. Keep writing!
