Oh, the Boromir part makes me sad. Beautiful, dear.
Author's reply
Thank you. Dear Boromir. His city will never forget him, and neither will the one who would have been his king.

Queen Galadriel · 8 April 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours
Oh! Yes, quite fitting that a moment should be added for the Shire. It gave its best, its very best, after all. God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
It's wonderful that we *can* look to the Shire, in our hearts and imaginations.
Queen Galadriel · 8 April 2006 · Chapter 2: The Record
Awwww! Dear, sweet Sam! It's love that gave him that strength, love and that native strength that those four didn't realise they had until it was most needed. God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
I enjoyed bringing out that theme in "Quarantined" -- that love gives us strength and courage when we need it most. Sam is Love. :D
Queen Galadriel · 8 April 2006 · Chapter 1: Lest We Forget

Thank you for reading! I can never get enough of hobbits being honored by those who truly appreciate what they've done.

Grey Wonderer · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Lest We Forget
I liked Aragorn's silent pledge to Boromir. I have always wished that Boromir could have made it. Greedy of me, but I wanted all of them to survive.
Author's reply
We all did, I think! At least, with fanfic, we can imagine infinite possibilities.
Larner · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours
Oh, Shirebound, this is one of the most wonderful short pieces I've read. Yes, the thanksgiving not known of there in the land so honored, yet so heartfelt. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
Author's reply
Oh! *bounce bounce* Thank you! Sometimes it's possible to say everything we need to in a very short amount of words.
PIppinfan1988 · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours
Excellent! I LOVE the whole idea of the Standing Silence--and thenfor Prince Faramir to add a moment for the land of the Ringbearers is very lovely touch. There's more...right? :-) Pippinfan
Author's reply
Thank you. I really think Faramir might have thought of such a thing. What a joy to imagine such respect for the hobbits. I'm not sure there will be more of *these* scenes, but more hobbit-fic is coming! Always. :D
Andrea · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours
Very nice, Shirebound! At the end of the day the people of Gondor will always be reminded that each day is a gift, given them by the little people from the north. To conclude this review I quote *you*: "From our hearts to yours... thank you". :)
Author's reply
Awww, thanks, Andrea. I really enjoyed writing these short scenes.
harrowcat · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours

Pearl Took · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 3: From Our Hearts to Yours
I really like this. They look to the west to honor their begining and to the north to honor their rebirth. Beautiful! :)

demeter d · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Record
" I do not believe we have even begun to witness what they are capable of". Again, beautiful! To me, I think that is the appeal of all of Tolkien's stories. Very often, the heroes are the ones we would most likely expect. ordinary people doing extrordinary things out of loyalty and love. I beliieve all of us would like to hope we could do that too. Yes, very enjoyable!
Author's reply
ordinary people doing extrordinary things out of loyalty and love Isn't that just the best and most inspiring thing to read about? Truly, that is a major theme of LOTR.
Linda Hoyland · 27 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Record
A lovely glimpse of sam's loyalty and Aragorn's respect for the the Hobbits.
Author's reply
Thank you, Linda.
Larner · 26 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Record
The first vigil for Frodo's survival. And they do indeed have another one to see in which they have proof of what Periannath can endure.... Beautifully written, my friend.

""Then Sam will wake this day, as well," Aragorn chuckled quietly. "Of that I have no doubt."" Simply perfect! Thank you my dear *hugs*

Author's reply
Oh my, thank *you*! :D
harrowcat · 26 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Record
But then Sam is half the size of Aragorn so perhaps the record should be adjusted accordingly. In which case Sam wins hands down! *g* And as a fan of Larner's 'brothers-of-the-heart' writings your Perhaps the blood of Númenor flows within these hobbits is very intriguing. I guess you could say I liked this a lot Shirebound, as always, not least the atmosphere that comes across in it.
Author's reply
Yes, the record should be adjusted, indeed! *crowns Sam the reluctant winner* Thank you, harrowcat. Oooh, I didn't think of the Larner-connection. I like that. :D
