I love the warmth Wanderer shows to both Sam and Frodo. First cat I saw eat pound cake, although I had one who'd go through a large loaf of bread in no time. And to see the cat begin to appreciate what Frodo's gone through is wonderful.
Author's reply
In my experience, cats will eat just about anything(including pink fuzzy hair ties, lol) Glad you liked it!

Oh, that's so...sad! You can't end it like that! *wipes eyes* But you did, so I guess you can. It was very poignant-love Frodo's thoughts on his dear ones.

Author's reply
Sorry I had to end like that. *is sad* I was in an angst mood that day, so... Thanks for reading!

Author's reply
Glad you liked it, mellon nin! The challenges are at Marigold's livejournal. I don't know if she has a link from her author page, but you can ask her if you'd like one. I think they're doing another one now. They're SO much fun!

Heartbreaking for him to realize the emptiness inside. Cute his thoughts of Pippin.
But your soul is not destroyed, dear, just terribly hurt and it will heal. Believe that.

Poor Frodo, but he will heal, and that is a comforting thought! Thank you for reviewing!

Sweet story. I am not an Aragorn fan but I do like this story with him and Frodo and Sam holding Frodo's hand. Poor dear though with those dreams... Just heard about his nightmares in the BBC Radio adaption I have started listening to. [kneels down to give Frodo a big hug].
Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Never heard the BBC version... *runs down to library* Glad you liked it! I liked Aragorn before I knew how mush i liked the hobbits, so now that I LOVE hobbits, I had to put a LITTLE of him in here somewhere! lol!

Perhaps that ought to be Bilbo IS very proud of you. I love this Elanor, especially the idea that Frodo doesn't yet know that Strider knows Bilbo.

Well, bilbo is ALWAYS very proud of him, but he hasn't heard all of their adventures yet to be proud of that. I am glad you liked this!

· Chapter 9: Pasta
LOL! Spaghetti does resemble long worms, doesn't it. I remeber as a child going to some haunted Halloween party at school, where there were labeled containers hidden from view that you stuck your hand into. The one labelled 'brains' was really cold spaghetti.
Unlike many of your other reviews, I'm going to have to fight Frodo for the mushrooms, or hope that he will share. I love mushrooms and at one of my favorite Italian restaurants (there are sooo many to choose from where I live) there is a dish that serves Farfalle in an Asagio cream sauce with FOUR different kinds of 'shrooms!! Eat your heart our Frodo!!
This was great! I'm trying to take a gander at Shirebound's pizza challenge myself.
Author's reply
Lol! I'm sure my parents pulled something like that at a Halloween party when I was a kid too! (the one I remember though was a banana, and they wouldn't tell us what it was supposed to be!) I'm sure Frodo will share with you...maybe. I only like raw mushrooms, like the ones you get on veggie trays, with lots of Ranch dip. But Italian food sounds really good right now... I'm sure your story will be great! I love shirebunnies!

*giggling* Oh, Ellie, this is the best yet! I just love it! Hobbits introduced to pasta. Cool! It was so hilarious the way they reacted and so perfectly in character! Of course Pip would be the first to try it. This was just what I needed--I'd been crying my eyes out over Larner's Reunion, and now I wonder if I'll stop laughing. Beware the extremes. :)

LOL! So, Wanderer has decided to permanently take up the occupation of playing chess, eh? That's so great, Ellie! LOL! And of course it's unthinkable that he could make a mistake! *grin* I have to say, Wanderer is my favourite kitty--he's got way more personality than any other I ever met. The only one that comes close is my teacher's cat, Sassy. She *was* sassy! :) Now, can Wanderer beat Frodo?
God bless,
Galadriel
Author's reply
Sassy! That's so cute! I think Wanderer has found himself a full time job! Btw, did i tell you that my friend Arwen of Lorien e-mailed me pics of her kitty playing chess after I wrote the first one of these? They are so cute! I'm glad you like Wanderer! It's hard writing about cats, cause I'm a dog person, but it's alot of fun!
God bless,

p.s. I think he'll give Frodo a run for his money. Whether he can beat him is another story. (hopefully one that will pop into my head soon!)
