A sweet story, my dear! I love to see Frodo in his and Sam's garden, sleeping out there to be closer to his dear, though I ache a little that he is physically without him still. Cute that he only come up to his friend's waist. I do imagine sometimes how they would like if they stood by me. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Yeah, they wouldn't be that short to me, only by a foot or two, but still shorter. I love all the parts in the movies where they're standing next to one of the Elves or Men, they're so cute!! I'm only 5'1" and I often feel like that around my friends cause they're all just under 6 feet by a few inches. Glad you liked this story! God bless, Ellie

“That’s enough laughing at me, let’s go get something to eat!” Frodo exclaimed jokingly, and they ran off. Melda smiled, glad that nothing worse than homesickness had kept her friend from visiting that morning. I'm so happy when Frodo has friends who care about him this much. :D

Beautiful! Truly. Wonderful insite into the characters. You do excell at that! Whether in hobbits or in Stewerds, you just make them come alive and even let there problems make sense. Yes, now it does make sense to me why Denethor would feel that way about Faramir. Bacons Predictions! God bless ~Arwen

*blushes* thank you so much, dearest! I've always wanted to do a piece about Denethor, and here it is! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 2 October 2006 · Chapter 14: For Love
And in the end what he saw as weaknesses in Finduilas and their son proved to be greater strength than he could appreciate. In the aftermath of the war, Gondor has need of love and honesty and loyalty and appreciation of the greatness of others. But he could not see that. Well done, Elanor.

It is very sad he couldn't see it, but I suppose Iluvitar had a plan there too. Thank you very much! God bless, Ellie
Larner · 2 October 2006 · Chapter 13: Mordor
There is something real to hold onto, something real to hold onto while the Ring sings its siren call to destruction. And for the moment he can rest, supported by the reality of Sam's love.

There will be the need to go on all too soon, I think. But he's right to recognize the voice lies.

Oh, this is so sad. As much as I love your Hobbit fics, these "non-hobbit" fics have an amazing power all their own. I see this as the beginning of Denethor's descent. So sad for Faramir, and not fair, really. But I can forgive Denethor a little after this. Beautiful, my dear! God bless, Galadriel

Thank you! I had started this as part of a different story, but it turned out to be this! I'm glad you liked it, and that I got the emotion well, I wasn't sure, Denethor is a really hard character to write! God bless, Ellie
