lol! Poor Merry, now all covered in egg. How sad the Frodo immediately assumed Pippin stole what he was eating, though I would have to say it proably serves Pippin right. And what does Frodo want a rose for? Surely he isn't falling for someone! Guess that can't be helped, if it is the case ;) Looking forward to more! thank you!

This is such a cute story, Miriel! I especially like little Pip's POV. LOL.

Hai · 15 September 2003 · Chapter 6: To The Market We Shall Go Part 1

I love it! I hope Merry doesn't have a lot of trouble once he realizes that he is alone with Bombur! If he ever wakes up that is ;) At least Pippin is getting something good to eat while at the market! Lovely tactics. Can't wait for more! Thank you!!

Actually, I hadn't considered Merry at all, but as you will see in the next chapter, thanks to your comment Merry's own escapades with Bombur are being told. So far, you've given me several ideas with your reviews. Thanks so much!!!

Very nice! I love your Pippin. He's a cutie, and his pov is great. :D

Hello! I came to read the story you recommended (as I usually do, sooner or later!) and am quite enjoying it. Very light and funny. Love the dwarf. :) OK, going to read the rest now...

I'm so very glad that you did! Yes, BOmbur happens to be one of my favorite Dwarves! When I read The Hobbit, I could practically recite the part at the beginning where Bombur fell on top of Thorin, Bifur, and Bofur. Heehee. Also in LOTR where he became so fat that it took 6 young dwaves to carry him!

Orangeblossom Took · 12 September 2003 · Chapter 5: To Stop a Snoring Dwarf

LOL. So cute. Shame on Frodo for telling Pip to plug Bombour's nose. ; )

Author's reply

Shame Frodo, Shame! Glad you're laughing.

Hai · 6 September 2003 · Chapter 5: To Stop a Snoring Dwarf

lol, Pippin got a story for his trouble and a softer place to sleep! It is definately a good thing that Bombur wasn't mean spirited! lol, it is hard to get anyone to stop snoring but especially a huge dwarf........hehe. Well I'm looking forward to more! Thank you!

Hai · 1 September 2003 · Chapter 4: Thunder in the Night

lol! How on Middle-Earth will three young hobbits try to stop a dwarf from snoring? I guess any expertise they may gain tonight could be used later on teh quest but at what cost? lol, it is funny just to imagine what the next chapter might produce! I'm anxiously awaiting what may happen next, thank you!

Orangeblossom Took · 31 August 2003 · Chapter 4: Thunder in the Night

LOL! I wonder what our young hobbits are going to do about that snoring. Thanks for some sweet and much-needed humor.

Hai · 25 August 2003 · Chapter 3: Bedtimes, Bedroom, and Things Like A Good Nights Sleep

lol, that is wonderful! You created such a wonderful picture! I hope to see more very soon, I can't wait to find out what other problems will come to Bilbo! Like sleeping arrangements of Bifur and Bofur! Or food! Or, well I'm sure there are many more adventures to look forward to, lol. I can't wait! Thank you!

Author's reply

Food, haha. That was a most delightful experience.

Orangeblossom Took · 24 August 2003 · Chapter 3: Bedtimes, Bedroom, and Things Like A Good Nights Sleep

ROTFL! I love it. This is so funny and cute. Bilbo would make the other hobbits sleep on the floor. ; )

Author's reply

Wouldn't Bilbo though?

Miss Aranel · 20 August 2003 · Chapter 2: Dinner, Supper, and the End of Bag End's Foodstuffs

Pip is right, this shall be a "most magnificent visit"...if not harrowing for poor Bilbo!

Author's reply

Lol...poor Bilbo. *grins evily*

Miss Aranel · 20 August 2003 · Chapter 1: The Trouble With Doors

Oh, cute! It's so hard to find good LOTR humor. : ) I did enjoy Bombur getting stuck in the door, but I also liked Pip's musings on running out of food and getting in trouble with Sam over the squashed flowers. --Aranel

Hi, Miriel! I couldn't find an e-mail address for you anywhere, so I hope you don't mind me responding in this way. First of all, please don't fret about people reading your chapters without reviewing. In my experience, only a tiny percentage of people who read a story leave comments about it. I have no idea why, but that's just the way it is for most of us. I do have some suggestions... You tend to write fairly short, choppy sentences. A smoother, longer style might be easier on the reader. Also, how old is Pippin? Why didn't Bilbo ask Bombur any questions about how he's been, and ask for news about all the other dwarves? Bilbo doesn't seem the least bit curious about anything. This is a delightful beginning, however! I hope Bag End's beds can handle dwarves!

Author's reply

After the story is completed, I now look back and say "thank you!!" for your wonderful constructive critisism on the chapter. It really helped me with the story.
