· Chapter 999: The (Other) Palantir and the Walrus
This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed it -- I like the characters, and there was definitely enough mystery about both to keep me guessing. I'm glad to see there are a few more stories, I'll have to check them out! :-) Thanks for writing!

Ouch! I cant believe she doesn't know what that ring means ! dang and I thought Inglor was clueless!
Author's reply
In their own way they're both utterly clueless. Usually about different things but mostly about each other.

Typo- "weighs heavily (on) my mind... And Who is Inglor that everyone keeps asking Haleth that?
Author's reply
Fixed the typo. Thank-you!
No one really knows who Inglor is apart from him being Inglor. They're very curious about him, though. People think that Haleth, of all people, should know his true identity. She doesn't of course, but that's partially because she's too stubborn to ask him.
Thank-you for reviewing, Aelfwine.

· Chapter 21: An Inauspicious Arrival
ok I am confused. How did they know about Tang and what does it mean other than a breakfast drink ? also Inglor as Haleth's accomplice? Hmmm
Author's reply
Thank-you for reviewing again. Haleth's appearance doesn't do much to inspire confidence. They think she's on their side...sort of...maybe. Haleth also tends to be hypersensitive to people. She's got a huge inferiority complex. All of her interactions with other people tend to get filtered through it.

· Chapter 19: Interlude II : The Palantir
There is the dwarf...is he gonna tell them to get a room already ? * grin*
Author's reply
Nah. The palantir is way more exciting than anything a couple of big folk might get up to.

I hope you dont mind my proofreading a little? I found another typo in "I don't have years(to)analyse everything"
Author's reply
Thank-you. Proof reading is always appreciated. I've added the to. Analyse/analyze is a British/US spelling difference.

· Chapter 12: An Odd Theft
OMG! ROFL ! I've come to the conclusion that Inglor's father must have traveled west when Inglor was very ,very young . It apears No one has had 'the talk' with our elf!
Author's reply
Thanks for reviewing, Aelfwine. I'm not so sure that Inglor hasn't had the talk or if he can't imagine anyone being so uncouth as to suggest something so improper. Haleth doesn't want to disillusion him. It was be WAY too embarrassing!

· Chapter 8: And They Spoke of Love
Oh dear too close for Haleth's comfort. All they need is a stuborn dwarf with them to tell them to get a room and get it over with LOL
Author's reply
Thank-you for reviewing, Aelfwine. I don't think that owuld work. Haleht would threaten the dwarf (or really, really want to) and Inglor would point out they already each had a room, why would they need a third room?

· Chapter 7: Lonliness
Hmmm, At first I thought Inglor was fishing for an admission on her part of some interest in him? How can he be so completely clueless?
Author's reply
How can Inglor be so completely clueless? That's a question Haleth asks herself at least a dozen times a day.

· Chapter 6: The Ruins of Fornost
It's a good thing this guy doesn't know what they are carrying.Poor Haleth if it's not one thing it's another.
Author's reply
I never thought of how he'd react. He'd probably look into it and then not be willing to let it go. I can picture the poor guy following it around, trying to get it back!

· Chapter 5: The Sounds of Disaster
She was lucky she didn't do a lot more dammage (head shake) skiing into a tree! oof! still great story. Will Inglor end up with the girl eventualy?
Author's reply
Yes. She could have knocked her brains out of her skull. Luckily for her, she wasn't going very fast.
Thanks for reviewing.

lol@ Tang. Do they still sell that stuff? So I guess that makes Earendil an astronaut?
Author's reply
Yes! You got the reference! I googled it (hopeless geek here). Supposedly Tang is still available. I haven't seen it in Canada since I was a teenager and I haven't been a teenager for a very long time.
Thanks for the review.

· Chapter 2: The Lossoth
You always make me laugh. Haleth reminds me of my first time back on ice skates after 20 years : I called to my husband to look at me skate , and he turned just as I went skating across the ice on my backside LOL
Author's reply
LOL!!! Timing really is everything, isn't it? It's amazing how often things time themselves for maximum embarrassment. It sounds like you skate the way I skate; strap skates to feet. Strap pillow to backside.
Thanks for reviewing.

Who would have thought that coffee could cause so much trouble (I'm guessing that's what it is.)? Love it!
Author's reply
I may have exaggerated the affects a bit. When this was first written I was horribly addicted to coffee.

· Chapter 11: Inglor Incites a Riot
*snork* Poor, unconscious Haleth. Although, she's such a delightful crab-ass all the time that I doubt she'd be aware of her luck if she was awake and sober.
I'm enjoying this so much that I'm breezing through the chapters and am too selfish to take the time to review every chapter. ;)
Author's reply
I don't think she'd think of herself as being lucky. Imagine wandering around with the perfect man; incredibly good looking, considerate, polite. The only downside is that he is completely unattainable. It would make me grumpy, too!

· Chapter 3: Game and Wager
LOL! The situations you put them in are absolutely hilarious. ;)
Author's reply
Thanks, Medea. I can't take complete credit for it, though. Many of the ridiculous ideas originate with my husband. He came up with the palantir as a bowling ball. I thought of the gambling. I can't really say which one is worse.
