It's been a while since I read this last, and I still love it. The joy of Frodo being able to be glad, for the moment, at least, after all he'd been through.
Author's reply
I like to think that Frodo did have some happy moments with his cousins and friends, and that those happy times kept him going until it was just too much to bear. Thanks for reading this again, and for all your comments! :)

Snow! I want some snow too. Cute story!
Author's reply
Thanks for reading! I hope you do get some snow, if that's what you want :D

Oh, this was so sweet, especially the way that little Pippin got his revenge at the end. That'll serve those two right! I especially enjoyed Pippin leaning his forehead against the windowpane and sighing - that just sounds exactly like him to me. As much aggravation that Little!Pip causes his cousins, I'm sure they love every minute of it.
Author's reply
I always love it when a reviewer says that I've written something "exactly like" a character - it's a huge complient for me! Thank you very much! :)

Oh, this is so lovely...! What a beautiful little snippet. I thought the play on the title was clever too. O...I am just at odds at what to say here, I want to say I loved this, but it wouldn't do it justice. This was very sweet. Great job!

· Chapter 8: Snow Day
*LOL* Oh, that was brilliant! I can really understand Merry. Here in Germany winter has come back unexpectedly, and when I look out of my windows, there's snow - in March. That's very unusual where I live. The weather forecast has announced more snow for tomorrow. That just leaves me to say, in Merry's words: "I can't escape it!" I hope spring will come soon.
Thank you for this chapter!
Author's reply
I hope spring comes soon for you as well! I like having cold weather, but snow is just too much trouble sometimes. Here in New York we had snow last week and I hope that's the end of it for this year! I'm very glad you enjoyed this chapter - thank you for reading! :)

LoL! I *loved* this. I am kind of like both Merry and Pippin here... I must admit I do like getting snow, and am a bit anxious about it ere the first snowfall of the season but, *enough* can sometimes be *enough* (as where I live, we certainly can sometimes get *enough*). But I loved the last line, I am familiar with that saying, and thought it was quite clever that you used it here! Great job! :)
Author's reply
Thank you very much! I agree - snow can be fun, but too much of it makes me feel like Merry does here. Oh, as for the last line, I was trying to decide how to end it and I just remembered that old saying - I'm glad you liked it! :D

Thanks - I loved this. And I know just how Pippin feels. I live in the West of London and everybody else in the Country seems to have had feet of snow while we have just had a few, rather grey, flakes falling from the sky. Not enough to cover a hobbit's toes! I love snow!
Author's reply
Heehee! I actually wrote it for a friend of mine, also in England, who really wants snow. It seems to be a common complaint! I'm so glad you enjoyed reading about these snowy hobbits. Thank you! :)

I loved this so much. It took me a moment to realize "when" I was in the story, but then it just delighted me to realize they were already beyond the quest and they were still Merry and Pippin, and Frodo was able to enjoy them, at least for a little while. Thank y ou for this
Author's reply
Thank you so much! I like to think that Frodo had some good moments with his cousins after the quest, and that they lightened his spirits as best they could. I'm so glad you enjoyed this! :)

The Four Ages of Man... or in this case, Hobbit. I have tears in my eyes and a big lump in my throat, forcing myself not to cry because of how beautiful it was. You are a gem. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us.
Love,

Oh, these are all so adorable! But this one lol... jewelry...riiiight Merry :) I can just imagine a dwarf with little pink wings...hehe! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful collection of little ficlets to read :)
Author's reply
Heehee! Yes, I was definitely thinking of Gimli in a pink dress with wings and a little tiara when I wrote this. Thank you for reading and commenting - I'm really glad you've enjoyed these ficlets! :)

Ahh. Good for Merry. There comes a moment in recovering from illness when laughter is worth a couple of bottles of medicine.

Exactly! Merry knew Pippin needed some cheering up, and what better than a cute and cuddly kitten? :)

I love the tooth Dwarf. I kept picturing Gimli in one of those fluffy fairy costumes with a wand. LOL

LOL! That's the funniest image. And his costume would be pink and glittery, of course. Thanks for reading and commenting! :)

Oh, too precious! What a wonderful cousin our Merry is, seeming to know instinctively what to do and say around little Pippin. Keep these up, please, I do so love these postcards!
Author's reply
These ficlets were tucked away in my LJ, and I thought they were too short to post on their own so I decided to group them together. I'll post new ones as I write them. I'm glad you enjoyed the postcards - thank you so much for commenting! :)

Too cute and so like Merry to help out. I also love your title for these stories.
Author's reply
Thanks! I usually have the worst time trying to think up titles. This just sort of came to me - I think there is a book or film called "Postcards From the Edge" and it just sort of lended itself to these very short stories. I'm glad you enjoyed them - thanks for commenting! :)
