Change in the Weather

Written for Marigold's challenge. Three stories, one set in Pre-Quest, one set during the Quest, and one set afterwards, all beginning with the same opener: Merry looked up at the sky anxiously. There was going to be a change in the weather, he had no doubt, and not for the better.
