What a story! Now both sides have prisoners (one voluntary, the other not). Will Faramir *want* to be exchanged? Do their parents even *that* that the game is afoot? Will Gimli want to help rescue Legolas? Will Minas Tirith ever be the same? Will this delightful story go ever on and on? (I hope)

Lovely! All the children I'm sure we have a lot of mischief to come! I liked Elrohir saying that Aragorn had no idea what was about to hit him! Looking forward to finding out what that would be. Is Legolas going to get tangled up in it again? Looking forward to more!

Jebb · 29 December 2003 · Chapter 4: The Fellowship of the Green Dragon

Great update two were bad but now ..... LOL I wonder which elf they will hunt???

Pervinca · 29 December 2003 · Chapter 4: The Fellowship of the Green Dragon

Very cute! It's so sweet having Faramir and Eldarion being friends! And having Legolas as their partner in crime was an especially nice touch. I had a smile on my face through the first two chapters. Just one thing that I have to say - about Eomer's son. As far as I know, Eomer's eldest son is called Elfwine. I dunno, maybe you already knew that, and translated his name or something. Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't!

Oh, so that's why whenever I wrote "Eothain" warning bells went off in my head. Thanks for telling me; I don't know WHY I didn't check the appendices. I'll fix this mistake, thanks!

Mysterious Jedi · 28 December 2003 · Chapter 4: The Fellowship of the Green Dragon

Cute! It will be fun to see what all they do.

calenore · 28 December 2003 · Chapter 4: The Fellowship of the Green Dragon

Oooo who are they going to hunt? One of the elves? Gimli? This should be amusing... are they all going to come bursting into the real council that the adults are having? Oh dear, I wouldn't want to see Aragorn's face then!

Orophins Dottir · 28 December 2003 · Chapter 4: The Fellowship of the Green Dragon

OK, I am officially de-lurking. This is a charming story so far. I love the elf kid: “Yes, I was. I’m an Elf, I’ve been around for several decades already.” Elven perfection at its most annoying. Why do I have the feeling that the stalked elf will be the Prince of Mirkwood? Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil

Hai · 27 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

Oh dear a bookcase! At least that wasn't very abd and they were really trying to only get paper not really making too much mischief though it certainly ended in it! I loved the Ballroom chapter also! I liked the discription of Legolas sliding across the floor! I liked that a "legion" of children wanted to know if Faramir was alright. Looking forward to finding out how they help each other get into mischief! I'm also looking forward to seeing familiar characters from the books and their children as well! Thank you!

paranoidangel · 27 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

I loved this story - it made me laugh. Especially Legolas behaving like a little kid.

Jebb · 26 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

Another sweet chapter I hope we will see more of Legolas in later chapters I Love the way you write him

daw the minstrel · 24 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

Poor kids! How boring to have to sit around, but at least they have one another to play with. Legolas seems to be one of the co-conspirators rather than one of the sensible ones.

calenore · 24 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

Oh that is so cute :). Poor little kids... their children's council should be amusing.

Grey Wonderer · 23 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

I love how quickly Faramir found a place to eat! LOL Good hobbit. Legolas is wonderful in this story. Less stuffy than he comes across in other fictions. I enjoy him with the children as he often seems confused by it all and yet willing to have a good time. Look forward to more.

Coriel · 23 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

Oh, no . . . Councils and crazy kids don't seem to make a auspicious combination! I really hate to think how they'll frame Legolas this time. ;)

Jebb · 23 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

Loved it so much fun and yes I could see the elf taking part in such fun it would be just like him to enjoy such simple plesures

frodo16424 · 22 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

Very cute! I just see Legolas sliding across the floor> LOL Poor elf. Caught in the act! ROFLOL! Please post more soon.

daw the minstrel · 22 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

Great scene. I love these kids. I imagine that winters in Mirkwood were cold enough that sliding on the ice would be pretty common sport. No wonder Legolas does well. And do you know I really liked the detail of Eomer enjoying making life difficult for Aragorn when trading horses. I'll just bet he does!

calenore · 22 December 2003 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

hahaha this is great! I loved the mental image of a tiny hobbit boy, a small human boy, and a tall elf sliding across the floor together... as well as the look on the King's face...

Jebb · 22 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

I so enjoyed this it made me smile. Do hurry and update I can't wait to read about Legolas scrubbing those floors and wht do I get the feeling there is more mayhem ahead for all of them thank you

Hai · 21 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

Loveing it! I liked Pippin tatteling on Legolas in sorts! Can't wait to find out what happens in the Ballroom, I'm sure it will only result in more mess! Looking forward to it!

websterans · 21 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

Interesting. Looks like lots of fun--and I appreciate the reference to another recent story.

Grey Wonderer · 21 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

Great beginning! Can't wait to see what happens in the ballroom!

shirebound · 20 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

I adore this series of yours, and hope it goes ever on and on! Omigosh, a full-blooded young Took and a prince who has everyone wrapped around his little finger. Minas Tirith will never be the same. *huge grin*

daw the minstrel · 20 December 2003 · Chapter 1: Crime and Punishment

Oh lordy. The ballroom will be in mayhem. And I imagine Eldarion is indeed adorable. Sweet beginning.
