No Better Name
The second in the Rushlight Trilogy, which began unexpectedly with the Teitho story, “By Such a Foolish Name”. Bowen Rushlight brings home a Ranger in need and finds his ideas about Rangers tossed to the winds. Rated for references to the harsher aspects of Denlad's childhood, but nothing at all graphic.

The Ranger and the Hobbit
An AU-ish tale that’s less AU than it is “what if”: what if, as the Dúnedain patrol the region around the Shire, Aragorn has an encounter with an intrepid, resourceful hobbit, one with the same mettle as Bilbo and a similar yen for adventure? And what if Aragorn also has an encounter with some men with less friendly intentions? Tookishness and Rangerliness both abound in this tale of a quiet patrol turned disastrous. 2010 MEFA nominee.

At Hope's Edge - The Appendices
These might best be described as "deleted scenes" or "bonus material" to my story "At Hope's Edge" - short ficlets and sketches that I wrote in order to fully understand the characters and the situations in which they found themselves. Being "deleted scenes", some of the details may not match completely with the events in "At Hope's Edge", but most come close. While it is not necessary to read that story first, these will contain spoilers. Elrond's Tale - Part 2 completes Elrond's Tale.

An Unexpected Feast
Thorongil learned many things in his travels, not least of which was to eat what was placed before him. And hope not to die in the attempt. 1st Place Teitho - "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry". 1st Place winner, 2009 MEFA. Warning: Requires a bit of a strong stomach. And perhaps it would be wise not to consume any beverages while reading. Just in case.

Keeping Watch
A series of drabbles, double drabbles, etc. to form a complete stream-of-consciousness story as Halbarad, with the help of Elladan and Elrohir, keeps watch over an ill Aragorn. All characters, except Halbarad's cantankerous steed Tarlanc, belong to Professor Tolkien and are only lovingly borrowed. 3rd Place, 2009 MEFA; Winner Best Hurt/Comfort Story, 2009 Golden Quill Awards.
