Of all of the fiction written concerning Pippin and Diamond, I enjoy this chapter the most. I found it romantic, warm, and filled with real feelings. Everyone deserves a relationship this special! My favorite thing about all of this is that Pippin knows that there are other Hobbits fairer than his Diamond but she is the only one he wants. That's love.

I love camping! The cool night air, the crickets chirping, the cicadas hissing and snuggling under in a sleeping bag combined make a great night. I've never tried it in a tree before, though, could be interesting. :) Another great chapter. Keep up the good work.

Very nicely written, I must say. I love the little tyke. :) I have a three year old brother of my own and I remember when he was that small. It's my favorite time with little kids. Sweetness, innocence, love, trust, all the good things in life incarnated in the mite of life in your arms. Truly a touching story, with little Theodoc no doubt slightly, if not totally, inspired by one of your kids, I'm sure. I just loved it.

Okay, I haven't been reviewing as much as I should lately, but a story this good just demands feedback.

This just breaks my heart! Poor Pippin and Diamond... But on a happier note - Pippin is such a sweetie! (Okay, so that's stating the obvious...) I loved it when he "talked" to Theodoc; that's classic Pippin. You're writing him so well, and the other characters, too. I know from experience that it's not always easy to write for Diamond and Estella, because we know next to nothing about them, so we have to think up our own ways for them to interact with the canon characters (if I'm making any sense at all...). From what I can tell, you're one of those authors who has acomplished this task wonderfully. And you're doing a great job with writing Pippin and Diamond's emotions on this subject - the writing really tugs at the reader's heartstrings. And I adored that song! *sigh* Pippin is so great...

"Pippin blinked. His gaze faltered. He looked away from the innocent eyes and out to the wide world, up into the clear blue sky. 'And my heart, too, Theodoc. My heart, too.'"

*sob* This is fantastic! Please continue when you get the chance, I'm very eager to read more!

(Now the only bad thing I can say about this story so far is that it makes me feel terribly uncreative, since I've been planning something similar for my own Pippin/Diamond story. :P )

How lovely! Pippin's description of Lorien is truly wonderful, Pearl. And ohhh... I sense that something wondrous will result from this chapter...
