So, the mystery remains. Poor Thranduil, I think if he would be left in peace for a while he would figure it out, but alas he has no peace and quiet and his mind is already on his march on Dol Guldur.
I think this is a good stopping point. The scene is now changing away from the King's Halls and you set out to write the escape from the Dwarves from the viewpoint of the elves. |

And so the elves themselves help the dwarves escape. Thranduil's plan sounds intriguing. Too bad that we will never know Thorin's answer. |

And so it begins. Thranduil is back and can take over again. I think his subjects are glad. His sons are no substitute as of yet. |

Whew! Legolas made it back in one piece and it seems not too soon. The brothers still have much to learn about governing a realm. |

Oh, boy the tension mounts. As soon as Thranduil is away, the brothers are put to the test. The quarrel between the brothers is worrisome, but at least they were able to put their disagreement aside and work together. |

As I said before, I love the family dynamics. You paint a very believable Thranduil and I love his relationship with his sons and daughter. So, Legolas counted 13 dwarves and now there are 12? I guess Bilbo is the "missing" dwarf ;-). |

As always the family dynamic is delightful. It gives the story so much more depth. |

Oh, I love this, especially the dynamic between the brothers. This Attercop song is inane and I can't blame Legolas for developing a headache when thinking about it. Girithron is also excused for thinking his brothers lost their mind. |
