Awesome chapter, Myst!!!! I started reading this yesterday when my AOL cut out on me...downloading a spyware deterrent.

I loved this line: "Rosie, if Sam, Pippin, and I, respected Frodo’s silence whenever it was obvious that he was hiding something from us, Frodo would have died, alone, on the road to Bree, and all of Middle Earth would be under a cloud of evil so vile as to make the occupation look like a Lithe Day picnic." -MW

Wow...that little debate at the end was a perfect cliff-hanging ending! Fantastic. On to the next one...

Wow...gosh darn it! Frodo needs to settle her arse down if he ever wants children! ;-) All in all, a lovely chapter, well written--as usual, by a lovely writer! :-)

I've just stopped by for a short feedback, since I have no time to leave a proper review from chapter to chapter, but I want you to know that you have one more reader who waits for and reads every chapter of your story with great delight and increasing curiosity!

Bless You!!!

Thanks for letting me know that you are there. I see the hit counts on every chapter. I know I have lots of loyal readers, but it gives me an extra rush of warm fuzzies when someone stops to say hello.

Thank you so much for the warm fuzzie fix.

Well, looks like I was WAY off, indeed! I hope Linwe listens the next time her husband and friends advise her on her own well-being. I'll be back to coninue on...

Author Reply: Linwe? Listen? That spoiled child? Not likely! LOL Oh well, I love her anyway.

"I am not sure but I would imagine it would be one or the other." replied Frodo. - MW Hehehehe...gosh, do ya think it's a 50-50 chance??? :-) That was cute!

Hmmm....what could these nightmares portend?? My guess is that Linwe is pregnant....and that Frodo's nightmares are like a "sympathetic" thing... Probably WAY off, but I'm waiting on the blessed event. For as much as they..."do things"...! :-o :-)

Awesome! I love the parallels between these two...so made for each other, they are. Yes, doctors and nurses are the worst patients, and are the last to seek prompt medical attention...go figure. :-) Take care.

Hello Myst! *Finally* getting around to catching up on my reading! The house in on the market, and things are looking rather good. :-) Onto reviewing!

This was a sweet chapter--showing Linwe and Frodo settling into married life...and each other. I was wondering how you were going to deal with Frodo's recurring pains and illnesses. Wonderfully done! When are they going to be "blessed", for pete's sake??? I would say something, but I'll keep the public boards clean... :-P My apologies for not getting this review to you sooner, but the week leading up to Labor Day and that very weekend was tight. Thank you for giving me the space and your kind support--a true friend, indeed. Thanks!

Oh, wow, my heart was in my throat for that last part. Whew. I really like seeing what's going on in the shire, seeing how all the bad things are beginning. Esmeralda is a remarkable hobbit. Today was fun. I also had fun when I got home and my friend took me on a motorcycle ride. That was so cool. However there was no sparkle dust. That's ok. He's going to Rolla next weekend anyway and I'm fine with him staying a good friend. Ciao

Author Reply: Hi there!

Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you on this. It has been a busy week and I am easily distracted... LOOK Butterflies!

For a really fantastic story onwhat is happening in the Shire, during the quest, go read Pear Took's "While We Dwelt in Fear". I think you will really love that one.

I read over the eleventh chapter. As always I found several things that I want or need to change. I guess there is no such things as the perfectly written story, at least not from the authors point of veiw. Still I like it myself. I am glad you did. I am thrilled that you like Esme (Esmeralda) so much.

I am typing this up at 10:37 a.m. Saturday morning. You are most likely at fencing. I obviously am not. I had to stay home and be a parent today. heehee.

This is such a sweet story. I will admit, I don't usually read hobbit stories, but I will definitely finish this. You don't usually read about relationships forming between femals elves and hobbits. I agree, it would take an especially remarkable hobbit lass to win Frodo's heart. And I also agree with you: the true ending of ROTK is much too sad for Frodo. I was a little iffy about the elves needing to develope techniques for healty elflings, but I'll go with it. See you Sat, my dear fellow fencer. I'm going to try to remember to bring my scrapbook to show you.

Author Reply: You cought me on what I hope is the one possible improbabiltiy of this entire story. The matter of Elves needing to insure the health of their unborn is taking advantage of the limits of their immortality. They can die in battle or of a broken heart but they have never known illness. Elves still need to eat and to rest as well. Their bodies still need to be nurtured and that is the loop hole I am playing with. Maybe if left to their own devices the unborn Elf would still emerge perfectly fine. I have often wondered why Elves would need to know all that much of healing, but then I remember that they can be injured and now that I come to think of it they have kept farily close to ties with Aragorn's long lived people. Maybe I could go back and rewrite something to the nature of Elves learning something of reproduction from their friends of the west.

I am looking forward to fencing and to seeing your scrapbook. :)
