Oh dear! Now that would be beyond embarrassing. And I remember some of the codpieces certain lords wore in the SCA. LOL! I wonder what Aragorn would've said if he'd been there? Or Eownyn and Arwen? *sly snicker*

Ohhh, that's wonderful. What a perfect tribute for this day.

A very realistic scene for these two. What a moment that must have been.

This is such a stirring part in the movies to see those beacons lit, and seeing those men who stayed in readiness in such isolated, forbidding places for so long. I love the little stories that are celebrated there. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A sad day for Aragorn. I love the words he had for his worthy Steward. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

this is delightful! it cheers my morning. may I ask why Faramir hesitated to sit beside Eowyn? is it because our Steward thought about propriety?

Obviously, your other readers are unaware of the time-honored custom of pub-crawling. *grin* Not that I've ever indulged, but I know some who have. I wonder how hung over Pippin will be at his own wedding. Esmeralda won't be happy, that's for sure. Hopefully, Estella will show her the proper use of a towel on her husband to keep him in line. LOL! Am enjoying this series very much, Rhyselle. Thanks for sharing.

Excuse me if I just sit here and cry...A beautiful and sad drabble; Aragorn missing Faramir, Faramir's body lying in state, the sense of great accomplishment and Faramir's work being carried on by his son...Very well done! I do think Faramir would lie in state and be given a great funeral; and that Aragorn would miss his friend and highest 'servant' very much.
