Evil Undone  by Linaewen 36 Review(s)

Excellent realizations here. I'd say the new Ringbearer is a choice between Sam and Boromir now. And Gollum is now dead and gone? Interesting twist, to be certain. How does the Ring end up in the Fire, I wonder?

Oh my, that's wonderful!

The Ring no longer has a hold on you -- and that makes you the safest one to bear it. Safer even than I --

What a difficult, yet practical decision. Good for Frodo for being able to part with the Ring, even under these circumstances.

This is a dangerous time for the Fellowship. They sre all open to the Ring's whispers and lies. I think even moreso now that each one of thier focus is on who should carry the Ring. Eise of Frodo to decide this for himself!

The gaffer seems to have the right words for every situation. Indeed, it was good seeing Aragorn arrive.

Poor Frodo. Sam showed great patience while Boromir was fiddling with Frodo's eyes.

Frodo definitely seems too wounded to continue to Mt. Doom.Rooms

Glad Boromir had his shield. Dear Sam. Would stand up to Sauron himself, if it would save Frodo!

"What?" exclaimed Gimli. "Do you not trust your own father to keep Frodo and the Ring safe?"

"How safe was Frodo with me?" Boromir choked.

If only canon-Boromir had realized that sooner!

I like your mature and thoughtful Frodo very much. I wonder how difficult it will be for him to see the Ring in the hands of another?

Indeed critical injuries, and they certainly do change everything! At least Boromir is now proof against the Ring's call!

Oh my! It seemed at first that Boromir's pride would stop him from telling the truth. Glad he fought that urge.

On to the next chapter!

PS - I hope Sam forgives him, too. I know Frodo will.
