Oh my, I'm feeling very sorry for Maglor. Of course the Feanorians were kin slayers, but they also created some of the most innovative items ever created in Arda and Arda Marred. It is a pity that the elves living in Elrond's realm cannot see beyond the occurences at Alqualonde. Hopefully the journey to Lorien and some time with Irmo and Este will be helpful here. - Erulisse (one L) Author Reply: It truly is a pity, but then, not everyone feels that way. (I am glad you're feeling sorry for him. It means I did my job as a writer.)

Good Glorfindel/Maglor interaction. Will Maglor see his long-lost wife again? Author Reply: I'm glad you like their interaction! As for seeing his wife, I'll just say yes and nothing more. :)

I had friends, though I didn't know if any would be willing to talk to me. I closed my eyes and sighed. Especially Telepevola, who had been my closest friend for years. Why would he want to have anything to do with me? After all, I had killed him on the quays of Alqualondë. Oh, that's got to hurt. How awful for Telepevola, and yes, for Maglor, even if he was the killer. Hopefully Telepevola will forgive Maglor, or at least be willing to put it behind them after umpteen thousand years. These lines could make a whole separate story; or hopefully be resoved in this one. Author Reply: It's definitely horrible. As for the rest: *bites tongue*

Eldar on bicycles - I love it! And they probably do too, as long as it doesn't snow. How does an airplane work if there's no electricity? I can just imagine how pleased the great Eagles were to have gliders and airplanes buzzing around, but there should be enough airspace for all. When did Elrond go and find Maglor in Middle-earth - is there a story about that? I'm enjoying this story, btw... Author Reply: I couldn't resist the bicycles. (Plus, I can't see them using cars.) As for airplanes workijng, I think I may have to either rewrite or clarify… Oops. I'll eventually write a story detailing Elrond finding him. I have a whole 'verse-- this is the base story. I'm glad! :D

A powerful chapter and a reversal of fortune for Maglor; in that his foster-son becomes his minder. At least Elrond loves Maglor and will be kind to him. I'm a big fan of happy endings for Maglor; I hope he will also be reunited with his mother and some of his brothers... Author Reply: Yes, Elrond definitely loves him, and that will help a great deal. I love happy endings for Maglor myself. It's part of the reason why I wrote RAFA. :D

I am enjoying this story very much. I am fascinated, not just by the way in which Maglor is going to have to cope with this new life (I am not surprised that some Sindar members of the household are going to make his life difficult), but with the way you have envisaged a developing technology for the Elves. I look forward to reading more of it. Author Reply: I'm glad you're enjoying it! I couldn't see this being set twelve thousand years after the end of the First Age, and not have the Elves with a higher tech level. Yeah, there's a bunch of politics dealing with his return. To me, that's the fun stuff. I hope you continue to like it!

This is a very interesting story. I am following carefully and enjoy the new chapters. I am not particularly knowledgeable about Maglor, but think I will enjoy your analysis. Thank you. Author Reply: I'm sorry for not replying earlier. I've been busy. (That's why I wanted to finish the story before posting, so I wouldn't have to keep people waiting for the next update.) I'm glad you're reading this, especially because you don't know much about Maglor. That's one of the best things about fanfic, that you can read about characters you don't know much about. I'm glad you find it interesting.

I'm glad the elves approve of Tolkien's histories. "Galadriel's daughter" indeed! Author Reply: I couldn't resist that nod to the "primary" world. After all, Tolkien did say Middle-earth is our earth. Yup. I firmly believe Celebrían is a strong character. Thanks for reading!

this is really enjoyable. I like the way you have presented his judgement and forgiveness. I do wish jhe had not given his real name to the minstrel though. Poor Maglor... Author Reply: I'm glad you're enjoying it! Why do you wish he hadn't given his real name?

He does appear to have paid, and many times over. Now, to be reunited with those he loves, and to find a place once more among his people. Author Reply: Oh, he paid. He definitely paid. Oh, the reunions are coming-- but they won't be easy. *wicked grin*
