LOL! Well all that frosting is going to make wee!Pippin even more insuppressible! *grin*

Author Reply: Oh, yes, it certainly shall! What in the name of Eru was Paladin thinking, allowing him (and his sisters) to have a present with a high sugar content?

It's amusing to imagine Bilbo fighting through the same writer's block the rest of us struggle with!

Author Reply: Oh, yes! Writer's block certainly is an omnipresent nuisance!

Pippin had almost escaped

LOL, they have to watch him every second! What an energetic lad. :)

Author Reply: Oh, indeed! That's with four pairs of eyes, too! Wait until *after* the cake...

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 3 on 12/19/2008
Oh, that's our Pippin! Heh! Thank you for the giggles!

Author Reply: Giggles are a great way to start or end the day =o) *huggles Pippin*

Oh, I can identify with Bilbo here--probably the most irksome thing for me is when I have the perfect scene fitted out in my head, maybe I've gone over it verbatim but haven't written it down, and then when I actually do go and write it down it never comes out the same... dull as dishwater indeed!

Author Reply: Ah yes. Or worse... your cell phone rings. Or someone speaks to you and you lose your train of thought.

Yep, been there, done that as far as not liking the way things sound sometimes. But aren't we glad it all turned out so charming in the end!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Indeed! I am very happy that Bilbo got over his mental block with that pesky chapter!

daw the minstrelReviewed Chapter: 2 on 12/8/2008
Hey, we've all been there with writer's block! Good to know Bilbo was too.

Thanks, SH.

Author Reply: I guess it really does happen to the best of us, eh? =o)

Oh, I know what you mean! I had one chapter to Stirring Rings that crept out in phrases and sentences for MONTHS!

Oh, do I identify with Bilbo here!

Author Reply: Ah yes. And my annual chapters for some of my stories...

PeriantariReviewed Chapter: 1 on 12/3/2008
aww i like this! So sad and angsty! Poor Frodo! Very believable bit about what he might've been thinking at that time.:huggles him:

Author Reply: I know, the poor dear! It must have been hard, realizing he would be living alone for the first time.

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 1 on 12/1/2008
It had to be traumatic, even if he were aware Bilbo was leaving and were as prepared as he could have been--which it appears, book-verse, he was. But I, too, see him finding that first night traumatic, that first night, perhaps just before--or just after--he put a certain gold Ring in his pocket.

Author Reply: Book-verse, he certainly did have an idea! However, he would of course want to deny any inkling to himself because he cares about Bilbo so much. Our poor dear Frodo. Oh, yes, and that gold ring certainly would complicate matters- though of course I have absolutely *no* idea why. Not. An. Inkling.

Poor Frodo!
