Dear Aragorn, he had borne a burden all his life and the Quest just added to it. A wonderful and prophetic blessing they gave to him. I agree about the escort for Arwen. Well done, Virtuella :-) Author Reply: Thanks, Pearl!

Interesting idea, although apparently Arwen never saw Aragorn within Imladris until the day he turned twenty, for she had spent over twenty years in her grandparents' realm. I love the blessing for this cloak, and it is certainly one that Aragorn of all people needs. Yes, very appropriate for Arathorn and Gilraen's son. Author Reply: "apparently Arwen never saw Aragorn within Imladris until the day he turned twenty" Yes, that was the occasion I had in mind. At twenty he would still be "very young", don't you think?

Again, a lovely little piece! I absolutely agree. Arwen would not travel alone, especially after what happened to her mother, even with an escort. Besides the best warriors of two Elven realms, and probably one or both brothers, she would certainly have had female companions. And Aragorn's paths were dark for most of his life. Again and again he had to go ways which seemed hopeless to most others. This is the perfect blessing for him. Author Reply: Thanks a lot!

Ah--such a gift and prayer for our beloved Samwise! Yes, indeed the blessing he needs! And when Frodo is reduced to wearing it, that blessing shall be shared with him at a time when he desperately needs such help. Excellent! Author Reply: Thanks very much for your kind words!

Quite the commission here! And they offer each one a blessing? Now, to hear them....

...May his strength not leave him...Perhaps the blessing of this cloak was that he would recognize the gift he already bore in his heart. Again, most lovely! Author Reply: Thank you for your comments!

What a lovely new story. Like Galadriel's other gifts, the cloaks are to contain gifts crafted just for the ones who wear them. You write with beautiful imagery, I felt as if I sat in the circle of maidens. I will be looking for more.

“And yet he must go on such a quest ... “ whispered Faenchiriel. There is great strength in Samwise Gamgee, as well as his gentleness and humility. He is my husband's favorite character in the story. Beautiful!! Author Reply: Funny you should say that, he's my Dad's favourite character, too. Thanks for your comments!
