How delightful! The 'elanor' rejoice to Elessar's touch, and remember so much that is lost. Thank you, and on to the next! HALROHIR Author Reply: I do think that even the most humble and gentle beings would recognize the hands and spirit of the King.

These are so beautiful, Shirebound! The language is poetic and evocative, and they are so different from your usual work--but they are wonderful! Author Reply: Thank you very much! I agree, they're very different than my "usual", and I really enjoyed bringing them to life.

Ah--Yavanna herself delights to see peace and plenty return to this land. And such a joy to think Frodo and Sam have helped see the symbol of the renewed kingdom amd royal line planted at last. Yes! Author Reply: This image brings me great joy, as well. Thank you so much for reading.

The sun-stars delight to know the touch of the King-to-be and the regard of the Ring-bearer. Very gentle. Author Reply: Quiet, lovely things, growing in a peaceful and dream-like land, would have a gentle nature, I think.

The stones and hills and mountains of Hollin rejoice to anticipate life of sentient beings to return once more. Wonderful viewpoint. Author Reply: Thank you, Larner. I love to ponder things like this.

Ah! The White Tree knows her King and is glad to return to the city where she first appeared. Lovely that Frodo and Sam helped to plant it too. A lovely trilogy, Shirebound. Author Reply: I'm very glad you enjoyed these. And of course I had to bring our "small ones" into every scene. :)

Ah yes, and perhaps one of those new lands will be the Shire, and eventually some of their number will adorn a lovely hobbit maid on her wedding day...... Author Reply: Exactly! I don't know *how* the elanor blooms reach the Shire, but I know that they *will*.

This is so much part of Tolkien's world, that stone and tree and earth should have a spirit and a life force. Nice that Legolas should acknowledge that and seek to learn from them. How could the stones understand what hobbits need? But at least they know a change is coming. Author Reply: Thank you, BB. These were unusual perspectives for me to try to portray.
