Just a note--the next chapter I can't see anything within! Author Reply: Hi Larner. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know what's wrong. I asked other people and they said that they could see it alright.

A nice little look into the first time Faramir dreams of Imladris and its mysteries. I do have one comment though, please be accurate when quoting Tolkien's work: It should be seek and not search, counsels not councils and Morgul-spells not Morguls spells, 'And the Halfling forth shall stand.' not 'And forth the Halfling shall stand' Thankyou, Lynda Author Reply: *blushes* Thank you for the corrections. I did not have the books available when I wrote the piece and forgot to look it up when I got home. I'll correct it immediately.

I like this. Thank you. My favorite part was that Faramir was the one that showed Gandalf into the archives. Such place would be to the liking of a gentle heart like that man. And to me. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thank you. I imagine that Faramir spent a lot of his spare time in the archives. ;)

Oh, hilarious! Poor Eomer. It appears that evil things still lurk in Meduseld. ;) Author Reply: Haha! And sometimes it comes in unexpected formes!

Ah, but did he appreciate just what Isildur's Bane was? Boromir doesn't appear to have known! But Boromir took the quest for his own.... Nice characterization here, and good look at the dream. Author Reply: Thank you. I took a little liberty as to the question whether Faramir knew about the meaning of "Isildur's Bane".

I loved this look at Faramir's dream. I never know whether to be glad or sorry he did not go to Rivendell.Glad if that was why he lived, sorry if he could have gone and returned. Author Reply: Thank you. Yes, it's something we'll never know.

Oh my, the things that rangers will get up too when there is no rangering to do I can see that Aragorn might have to make up a list of things not to do. Author Reply: Haha. Yes, it's not like rangers to remain idle and some may get ideas... But they wouldn't ever do anything that's harmful to others. Glad you enjoyed.
