LOL!!!

I wonder how many slices of cake Togo Goodbody actually had!

Pippin liked the strawberry "licker" too, it seems!

And Merry learned an important lesson: Pippin's reactions are always faster than you might imagine. So be careful!

I enjoyed this story a great deal! Thank you :)

Author Reply: Hee, my guess is that Togo was into more than just the cake! Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed this!!!

JUST a cake? I think not in this case, and I'm proud of Merry for trying his best to keep Pippin from drinking the liqueurs. Silly little Hobbit lad! And am glad the adults did THEIR best to protect the children by eating the cake themselves--valiant warriors of the dining table that they are! Heh! Even though at least one judge did fall to the enemy and became tipsy! And trust Saradoc to manage to get the last piece, and Bilbo to realize what had happened here!

Author Reply: Yep, it was a daunting task, but someone had to do it!! And I have the feeling that Bilbo always knew what was going on with anything that happened around him. Thank you ever so much for reading another of my "Wee Ones"!

Delightful as usual... I've never heard of a goose doing such a thing... but I'm a city girl....

Author Reply: Yes, farm geese are an odd lot. Pansy is modeled after my husband's grandmother's goose. Thanks for reading this!!

Hahahahaha! *uncontrolled giggles as I am trying to type* Pippin sure gets wound up in the wool! Hugs, Neilia

Author Reply: Glad you liked it, hon! *Hugs back*

Great addition!

Pippin always means so well, but sometimes the outcome is not what he intended ;-)

“What? No frilly parasols, Pearl! Tulip may be a lass piglet, but she’s not a fancy one.” Pippin sounded mildly disgusted.

LOL!!! I can imagine him saying just that!

So, one question remains: Will Lily get her blanket? Maybe knitted by Pansy? That wouldn't surprise me anymore :)

Author Reply: Heh, heh, that particular line was my favourite, so I'm pleased to hear you liked it! Lol, I'm sure Pip won't give up til he makes Lily a blanket! As for Pansy, who knows what she might decide to do with those knitting needles....?

This was such a wonderful trip to town, Cathleen :-) Pippin and Tulip do have the most interesting adventures. Thank you for a smile to brighten my morning!

Author Reply: Hi Pearl, I'm glad to hear it brightened your morning - I hope Tulip continues to get a smile from you every time you read about her!!

Methinks one wee piggy is becoming very cheeky lately! And Pansy got her nest? Nice. Now--where are those knitting needles? Heh!

Author Reply: Yeah, she is cheeky, isn't she? But I shudder to think of a goose like Pansy running loose with a set of sharp objects!

Another fun romp with Pippin and Piglet, and the delightful Took family. The soft-hearted lad certainly meant well, and I hope Lily eventually gets her coverlet!

Author Reply: Thanks, Shirebound! Who knows, she might even get pillow slips with that coverlet, hee!
