Oh, what a sweet little story!
I think it's quite fitting that Pearl, being Pippin's oldest sister, understands his love for Tulip best. From what you told us she must have been very talented in knitting and stitching.

I know that Knitted Pippin and Knitted Merry exist, and I've even seen some lovely pictures of Errol. What about Tulip?

Author Reply: Well, Tulip has been a wee bit camera shy, but she fully intends to make her photogenic debut very soon! Meanwhile, she is perched next to my computer helping me in composing every one of her tales. Thanks for asking!

Tulip was resplendent in her stylish Yule attire

Could these stories -- or Pippin or Tulip -- be any more adorable? :)

Author Reply: Awww, thanks! I kind of think Pip and Tulip are adorable too!

How cute! *L* Tulip with all those wee things on. *L* And now I of course would very much like to know how the Bucklanders, well Merry, will like this fashioned Piglet. Hehe. HeŽd probbaly roll his eye and saying, that the lad needs more lad company and not so many lasses around. *giggles* Write more of it please!

Author Reply: Thanks hon! I figured it was about time Tulip started working on her wardrobe!

What a lovely ensemble. Between Errol and Tulip, Pippin has his share of toys watching over him! Heh!

Author Reply: Thanks, Larner! Yes, I think Pippin is a very lucky little hobbit lad!

I wonder if, when she knitted Tulip, Eglantine realized she was providing her son with a companion conscience? Wonderful, particularly as she takes the piglet's share of the cookies!

Author Reply: Heh, heh - I think Pip really needs that extra conscience to help keep his mischievous self out of so much trouble! Thanks so much for commenting!

Cathleen, I have been enjoying your Pip & Tulip fics so much and this one was wonderful! You really have developed Tulip's voice so well in this. And of course, Pippin's responses to her (sometimes rather emphatic) nudging are perfect. I can just imagine what's going ot happen when they get home . Great job!

Author Reply: Thank you so much for your generous comments, they are much appreciated! I'm so glad to hear you like Tulip, she is still a work in progress.

Have you ever noticed how toddlers and slightly older younglings always tell on themselves one way or another? As a mother, I have had many times when I could barely suppress laughter when one of my kiddos did so. Tulip is a great way to show the magic of whimsy. Hope to hear more from her.

Author Reply: Absolutely, and I used that very idea as a model for this, too! I'm so pleased to hear you like Tulip - thank you!

Pippin's imagination is just delightful. Tulip is such a wonderful guardian and friend.

Author Reply: Awww, thanks Shirebound! I'm very pleased you like Tulip. Yes, she is the imaginative voice of Pip's conscience. Heaven knows the lad needs all the help he can get in staying out of trouble!

Aw! All warm and snuggly :-) I do so love Tulip! The opening scene was wonderfully done :-)

Author Reply: Thank you so much Pearl! I'm having great fun writing Tulip - she's truly taken on a life of her own.
