Nanny has a boyfriend! Nanny has a boyfriend! Well, a wannabe boyfriend. Hope you write more about Durvain, and if he ever gets that dance. Author Reply: Yep, I promise he'll get more time. Eventually. :) Thanks!

A searing capsule of one of the greatest tragedies of the Ring War. Vivid and tragic. Author Reply: Thank you! This is one of my very favourite drabbles.

A lovely remembrance for Eowyn. There aren't enough stories out there that explore the relationship, however brief, between Eowyn and Eomund, but it had to be as influential as that of Faramir and Finduilas, and possibly more. Excellent use of language in Eomund's nickname for his little girl. Author Reply: Yes, I really should write more Rohan bitties, but two other little ones seem to claim my time. :) Thanks!

Well, Edoraslass, I was enjoying these so much that I ran out of chapters... LOL! I only intended to leave one review, at the end, but so many of these touched me or tickled me in some way, that I was compelled to comment. I really enjoy how your drabbles and ficlets speak with so many voices, so many POVs, including both usual and unusual ones. And I also like how you experiment with many different word forms... I don't know anything about the forms themselves (well, except drabbles ;-D), but I appreciate the different choices... each a different length, a different rhythm, a different feeling. And you have a feel for the language, too. Very nice work! - Barbara Author Reply: Thank you for leaving so many reviews! I do try to make an effort to get as many different characters as I can involved, but as you can see, the Elves are sadly neglected. Honestly, I rarely consciously pick a form; I start writing, and there it is. It's a very strange feeling. :) Thanks again!

Old Man Willow! Another cool POV! I like! - Barbara Author Reply: Old Man Willow's weirdly fascinating to me - there doesn't seem to be anything else like him in M-e. Thanks!

*Shiver* I so feel for this man.... - Barbara Author Reply: Thank you! This is definitely one of those drabbles that just came from nowhere.

*Shudder* Poor Éowyn! Poor Éomer, to know what is happening and feel unable to put a stop to it! - Barbara Author Reply: I really do have problems understanding why something..er...underhanded couldn't have been done about Grima. But then, I'm not often known for my patience, either. :) Thanks!

Oh, so sad! The Rohirrim faced so many vicious attacks on their settlements. But what a marvelous ending! - Barbara Author Reply: And there must have been other times when the ending was not so pleasant, so this would have be particularly relieving. Thank you!

Oh! another delightful Imrahil vignette! And what a sly bit of misdirection... LOL! We certainly know what captures Imrahil's heart.... - Barbara Author Reply: And what will he do when he has to split his attention between the sea and his wife? :) Thanks!
