i have been keeping with this story, anticipating the next chapter to it even when i just saw another posted, i must say that your writing is one of the most prominent ones that have inspired me to give writing a good bash. this chapter is a jewel in this mithril made crown of a story.

i do hope you post a sequel or somthing soon, this story is far to good to ever end.

lots of respect, ekian

Author Reply: Thanks ekian, I really appreciate you taking the time to letting me know how much you've enjoyed reading this story. There will indeed be a "Book Two" though I will not be posting that for another couple of months. Look for the first chapter of "Elf, Interrupted: Book Two: Glorfindel's Quest" sometime around Easter if not before. I am also glad to see that my writing has inspired you to give writing a try for yourself.

"a jewel in this mithril-made crown of a story"... I like the sound of that. See, you're a writer already. *grin*

oh goodness! what an awesome chapter, and stunning finale!

the 'where' certainly is the question. let's just hope there's no 'when' involved, too! are they even still on Aman? or the world, for that matter?

brilliant, brilliant story. this has held me from the very first chapter. i am so pleased to see that you're continuing, and i see that you've wrote more stories while i've been away! always good ;-) thank you so much for what has been a thoroughly excellent, compelling and captivating story

J xx

Author Reply: Thank you, Lilandriel, for letting me know how much you've enjoyed this story. Yes, I will be continuing Finrod and Glorfindel's adventures (and everyone else's as well) in Book Two. I wll begin posting that in the next couple of months. I hope you will enjoy the continuation as much as you've enjoyed this tale. As to where our intrepid duo are... we'll find out soon enough, I promise. *grin*

I came to this site a few months ago, looking for stories about my favorite reborn balrog slayer, and WOW, WOW, WOW, did I ever find him!

Fiondil, this story is wonderful (as is everything of yours I have read so far). I love your descriptions and characterizations of, well...everything and everyone. Your Lord Namo is certainly one of my favorite characters of all time.

At least the cliffie gives me some time to catch up with Wars of the Valar, Stirrings of Shadow and the other stories you have posted since the beginning of December (you have been busy!).

Thank you for this story...I am really looking forward to Book 2.

Author Reply: Hi GloriRose and welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed this tale. Glorfindel is just about my favorite elf as well, though he and Finrod probably tie for first place in my book. Book Two will not be too long in coming though as you can see I have been busy writing other stories. Thanks for letting me know how much you've enjoyed reading "Elf, Interrupted". I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

Wow! I'm stunned. This is an end I hadn't expected. This whole story was not what I expected when I started to read, but you kept me enthralled and I couldn't wait for new chapters ;-). Now I'm sitting here and want more answers. I hope you start posting the sequel soon. I want to know what happens to Vorondil and all the rest, aside from Glorfindel and Finrod,

Author Reply: Hi, obsidianj. I'm sure many readers did not expect this ending (which is what I was hoping for. *grin*) Book Two will be posted soon enough, though it will probably be a couple of months while I finish up some other stories. Trust me, the story isn't over with by a long shot and we will find out what happens to Vorondil and everyone else. Thanks for being so a faithful reviewer. I appreciate it very much.

Loved the ending! I have an idea of where Finrod and Glorfindel are but am not completely sure. I'm just going to be as patient as I can, unlike some of the other readers, for book 2 knowing that you're just going to tell us that we have to wait no matter what. This novel was just amazing and I thank you for writing this!

Namarie!

Author Reply: Thanks, Nariel. I appreciate your kind thoughts. I hope to begin posting Book Two early in the new year, perhaps before Easter, so keep your eyes peeled. We'll learn early in the next book just where Finrod and Glorfindel have ended up.

That was really dramatic! Memories I expected, but not the Songs. I should have. :o)
Thank you for this really long and wonderful story, the next part will be greeted with a happy dance at least! Meanwhile, I will read this one again...

Author Reply: Thanks, Hanci. I'm glad you enjoyed this story so much. Thanks for taking the time to review chapters. I really appreciate it. And I hope you find Book Two just as interesting and wonderful as you found Book One.

I knew it. I knew you were evil in some way (after all, only someone with a minionish streak would steal the key to Elrohir's cell *g*).

So....when is chapter 1 of book 2 coming? hmm? C'mon....I don't wanna wait! *wails* I need to knooooooooow!

Please say you at least have some of it written...if you dare tell me it is just a bunny right now, I will so....I don't know, I'll think of something.

Author Reply: I didn't steal the key, I made a copy! LOL

As for the first chapter of book two, it isn't written except in my head. I'm still working out details. but it's definitely not a bunny by any means, so no more threats or I won't post anything, so there! *sticks out tongue*

I just have to go and say this.... You are evil... *grin*
Why did you go and leave us a cliffie like this?? You better hurry and start posting book 2.
On the chapter itself: Great, loved Beleg's lay, it really suited the fight.
And yes, Ingwe sure got more than he wished for ;)
I do have a hunch of were they are, but that's probably because of your other stories.

Can't wait for more, so please don't leave us hanging to long.

Author Reply: Hi Selene. Glad you liked the chapter in spite of the cliffie. *grin* Writers live for cliffhangers, it's how we get our readers to come back. The next book won't be posted for a while, but it won't be years, just a couple of months while I finish up some other stories and such. Just be patient.

I've been reading this from the beginning - you have me thoroughly hooked. I am definitely going to keep reading, whatever you write. Thanks bunches for so much enjoyment. :)

Author Reply: Hi Liz. I'm glad that you have been enjoying this story and I'm happy to know that you will continue reading whatever I write. Until Book Two comes out, feel free to read any of my other stories.
