| I rather enjoyed this piece...and I know you will probably hate me for this but I thought the ending bit with it all being a dream was just a bit cliche.But then again the title IS " DREAMS and Reality" so I guess I have no room to speak..:) I just wish that maybe it would of been played out as Frodo thought it was a dream then he discovers the what his TRUE reality (that of which him being possesed by Sauron)has transformed him into physically and mentally. But seriously...I'm NOT trying to Flame!!!I DID enjoy your story. keep up the great work. ****AddaLynn**** Author Reply: Thank you. The original ending to this story was just that - what he dreamed was actually reality, but he didn't know it until he thought he was waking up from that dream in Bag End and discovered that being in Bag End was the dream and he was waking up in his cell, but I decided I just couldn't do that to him and we do know that the Ring gave him nightmares on the Quest so I chose that way instead. | Oh my! Oh wow! You had me really scared there for a while! The part about the prison (for that is what it was, unwilling as they all were for Frodo to be in it) made me cry. But then what a surprise ending! Only one of those horrible dreams that merge so naturally into waking that sometimes it takes one a little while to remember what's real and what isn't. | Hey Antane You made me cry!lol That was really a wonderful angst filled tale. This IS one of best fanfictions that I've ever read. | What an incredible story Antane! Your vivid descriptions and intricate storyline had me truly feeling all of Frodo's despair, hopelessness, and depression... WOW!! I have always thought that when a writer can evoke emotions in their audience...that the reader is "experiencing" a piece/story, rather than just merely reading it...well, that is indeed a sign of a great author! I love your ending twist too! You are truly a Master of Angst!! I have always adored Frodo, so the author's who have devote their time, and written any stories about him have my undying gratitude! I hope you carry on with this theme...I don't think I have read any of your works before...now I must rush off and look up any other stories you have written!
