Beorning s-e-x! An interesting addition to Tolkienverse erotica, well-told and convincing.

I can just see little Faramir screaming happily in the water, proclaiming that he is a seal. Lovely vignette - I would really like to be there!

I always thought Lobelia a great hobbit character; and you bring out her inner strength here in a way that is funny as well as touching.

Ooh, a battle-poem! I love it! Tough warrior Faramir is always a treat, and seen via a poetic narrative which conveys the danger and suspense of that battle, he really shines here. I love it that Faramir is the one in charge of blowing up the bridge. Yes, I really love this piece, in case I haven't made it clear enough! Hooray for the Captains of Gondor!

I think you've captured the essence of the mysterious Radagast the Brown here. Saruman was the fool, and Radagast quietly wise, as is obvious here.

Excellent use of "complement" and "compliment"! And of course, this gapfiller tore at my heart, for the men were so brave, and obviously (and correctly) held Faramir in high regard.

This is very sad and moving, you capture poor Arwen's desolation beautifully.

All in all, it's a darned shame that the Eagles couldn't have given the Fellowship a lift to Minas Tirith! Rauros, Golden Rauros was certainly a fateful landmark for our heroes, especially for poor Boromir.

Teaching the complexities of grammar to young Boromir - what a thankless task! At least the teacher seems to be imaginative, empathic, and has a sense of humor - all essentials when trying to interest this particular youngster in details he's too impatient to learn. Amusing and quite credible.

I can see why the young soldier would think he was being given a thankless chore, but it is so neccessary, and indicative of the need not to waste Gondor's men. A good look at a lonely, but important task.
