| Sorry it's taking me so long to review. I'm still recovering from the weekend. Can I slap Pippin, please. I can't believe he just acted that way. I know the times were different then, that there were much more strict and stayed roles for males and females, and that to play a "girls game" if you were a boy was frowned upon, but did he really have to be so rude about it? Sorry for the long sentence. I really liked this chapter. I especially liked the stuff about Paladin. The image of him scheduling an afternoon trist with his wife was too much. I love it. Thanks. | Laughed out loud at Pippin and the book shelves. I also like Pimpernel in this one. She's such a tease. Oh, and I just knew that there had to be a jump rope story lurking somewhere in his past. | |

| I like Gelly. Interesting kid that one. So there may be a rope-jumping story in Pippin's past? I am wonderig since he seems dead set against this if there is a story there? Three older sister and, well, just wondering. I also wonder what broke up his previous romance? I am full of questions, aren't I? Hope you will be posting more over the weekend. | This was terrific. I love how Pippin teases her and I can't help but wonder exactly what those nephews of his did. Whatever it was, Pip and Merry have probably done far worse. Hope that there will be more soon! Author Reply: I agree; Merry and Pippin were a couple of scoundrels--and good at it, too! Gelly's just learning, so he's a light-weight. | Nice chapter. I really like the way you're showing that Pippin is maturing and coming into his own. Something tells me that Pippin should be very careful in getting into a relationship with Sapphira. She certainly has a lot of emotional baggage, that's for sure. I think I'll leave it at that for right now. I'm so tired that I'm not sure that I'm making much sense. Thanks. Connie B. Author Reply: Oh, yes--Pippin is not a tween anymore; he's all grown up now. However, still being as young as he is, he's lacking in the "life experience" department. And I believe he gave of his heart so easily...poor lad.
