| That was another cute chapter!!! I guess I couldn't deny little Frodo any of his wishes, eyes and all. Just imagining that little hobbit boy...*lol* Anyway, I'm sure he's sorry Balin went away so early! I can remember a few times when my parents didn't wake me up when something important happened. I know I wouldn't have had the heart to wake a little child either, but I can also remember the other side... I liked the character of the innkeeper and the story Bilbo told Frodo! *lol* Author Reply: I would not be able to deny him anything either. I wonder how Primula manages. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. | |

| I do love this adventure! How I wish I could have accompanied them. And of course I ADORE lines like this... | What an adventure! I especially love this: "Frodo's eyes wandered form one to the other in wonder. All the tales Bilbo had told him so many times suddenly grew to life - more than they did usually and it had all begun with Balin's arrival the other day. A shiver of delight ran down his spine and he hoped his two companions would never stop their talking - even if he would not talk for the time their conversation lasted. | lol aww sweet Frodo to want to surprise Bilbo... i'm surprised at the amount of work that he already did have done in terms of preparing the table. :D so it's 1374 so is Frodo only 6 years old at that time? Since Frodo is born 1368, i guess that would make him 6... He's doing quite a lot for a six year old--i'm impressed =) Author Reply: Young Frodo is almost six years old, yes :) Considering the importance of a breakfast table (especially for hobbit children) I thought it would be all right if Frodo did the best he could :) | |

| This is just great. We don't get nearly enough of Frodo being a perfectly normal, messy, into everything child. I love this. Mind you, if I were Bilbo I would be pulling my hair out by now - but I guess young Frodo is so adorable he makes up for it. Author Reply: I guess young Frodo is so adorable he makes up for it.
