The Wrong Path  by White Wolf 274 Review(s)

Who is the he? Legolas? Aragorn? Elrond? I personally suspect the last one. Great chapter. Where exactly did all of that blood come from? Internal bleeding, of just severe biting of the lip? More soon please!

Author Reply: Glad you like the chapter.

There's a clue who the 'he' is in the part about Mordraug, if you want to look for it. If not, don't worry. It will be revealed in a later chapter.

With Legolas clawing around inside his mouth, it's for certain, in my mind anyway, that he opened up a few blood vessels that bled freely.

If all goes as planned, I'll be updating on Dec. 3rd.

wow. i love how the story's comin along... with the blood from legolas it made the story creepy & even more better.

Author Reply: I'm glad you like the progress the story is making.

I wanted the part with the blood to be a bit of a shock. Wait until you find out what is behind it all.

Grr... That is a horrible cliffy! I can't believe that you left off there! Poor Estel. I hope that you add to this soon, you have left me desparate for more!

Author Reply: Well, I see that my horrible cliffy has succeeded. They make good grabbers to bring desperate readers back. :o) However, I think the story itself has a lot more to do with that than cliffies, and I'm trying hard to give everyone a good read.

How's tomorrow for the next update?

You CANNOT do this to me! I leave town Tuesday morning and will have no access to a computer until Saturday evening. You must get me off this cliffie before then. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!

*draws a deep and calming breath as befits a resident of Taur-E-Ndaedelos*

Excellent chapter. Broke my heart, and I am considering revenge upon you, but still excellent.

Author Reply: I'm happy you liked the chapter.

I hate that you will have to wait so long to find out what is happening to Legolas. I am updating tomorrow afternoon, US Central Time. Please don't seek retribution. I promise all will be revealed---eventually. :o)

If you are an American, I wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

*gasp* WHATHAPPENSWHATHAPPENSWHATHAPPENS!!! I love this brilliant piece of writing! The plot line develops extremely well, and I happen to LOVE Legolas angst. (Can't help it; it's a sadistic pleasure.) ;-) Anyway, wonderful portrayal of Aragorn's character. I too loved the 'something light' quote. Pippin would indeed be most pleased. The story is evolving in a breathtakingly mysterious way. Nice cliff hangers. Poor Legolas! Post soon!

Author Reply: Thandk you for the complement on my writing. I try hard to be entertaining.

Speaking of the food thing, I just recieved and watched the exptende version of TTT. I love the bit at the end with Maery and Piooin and the floating apples. Too bad that wasn't in the theatrical release. My favorite part, also left out, was the funny bit where Legolas and Gimli 'settle' their count of enemies killed at Helm's Deep. That was a riot. Oops. I digress.

I hope you find the rest of the story appealing. It's a long and bumpy ride, with much angst, humor, horror and surpises.

Author Reply: Please forgive the typos. My fingers and my Spell Checker went on vacation. I, of course, know how to spell Merry and Pippin.

Author Reply: I'm glad you are loving the story. I will update soon, so you will know what is happening, just not why---yet. I must keep some of the mystery going. :o)

Poor baby. I'm sure that this story is going to be angst filled. Do we get to look into Legolas' head soon? I hope so!

Author Reply: Poor baby, indeed.

Angst filled? Oh my, yes.

Get into Legolas's head? Stay tuned.

I give up. I've put you on my update alert list. I have to know what has befallen our prince.

"Just something light. Fruit, maybe, and honey tea. And cheese. And some bread and maybe a few sausages." Aragorn of the hobbit appetite! Pippin would be so proud.

I loved the trees:

"Please, send your strength to Legolas. Renew his spirit, so he can come back to us---and to you."

Author Reply: I'm so thrilled you put me on your alert list. Thank you.

I like to put some humor in the story from time to time to break up the drama a bit. And yes, Pippin would be proud of Aragorn's menu. I guess it's a good thing I didn't add a second breakfast, or poor Aragorn would have popped.

I thought Aragorn would have been desperate enough to implore the trees to help Legolas, if they could.

Wonderful, so wonderful story.

Will you hurry up and update soon?

Good cliffies btw.

I love what I read, just keep it coming.

Author Reply: Thank you for your kind words. I'm so happy you are loving the story. I love leaving cliffies, although not every chapter will have one.

I plan on posting Chapter 3 tomorrow (Friday).
