| Wow! I love this story! It's beautifully written, the characters just jump off the page they're so strong, and the way they interact is utterly brilliant. How nice to see Cirdan given billing as the wise, foresighted elf he is - I loved his 'Ah' :) Very fishermanlike. And I adored seeing Celeborn planting trees and then getting impatient with Elrond's eyestrain. Celebrian is lovely! And Galadriel and Celeborn's bickering was so amusing and right. Just fabulous all around! I wonder - would it be possible for me to put this story on my website? | This was romantic and painful at the same time. Cirdan is so right: Galadriel had only two choices because Elrond and Celebrian had already made theirs. That's the fate of parents. And yet, how hard it must have been to know anything at all of what was to come. I wouldn't have foresight for anything. | |

| Celeborn is sharpening a scythe; Elrond checks the exits. LOL Your Celebrian is wonderfully unique. She is quicksilver and bold. And if I were Elrond, I would not be happy about having Galadriel as a mother in law. | |

| Wow. I am just knocked out by this. It is beautifully written. I love the image of Celeborn as a gardener, whispering to the leaves as if they were his lover's ear. And Galadriel is appropriately scary. She is so single minded. Celebrian's wonder at her for seeing Elrond as too serious was amusing. | |
