I liked this story, it was full of heartbreak and rage, and it is true thier is always hope...Great job...

Glorfindel's presence simply leaps off the page in this fic!
Let us hope that he has as great an effect upon the twins of Elrond as he did upon me. It certainly seems as though he has broken through their shield against the pain, and that they are at last bringing themselves to grieve.
I thought it was a nice touch comaring Lindir's grief to theirs.

Wonderful story! I have always wondered about the part Glorfindel played in Elrond's household. I believed that he had been a great mentor to the boys and a good friend to Elrond and shared his burdens. Besides Elrond, I loved Glorfindel and the boys most.
Thank you for depicting the anguish of the loss of a loved one so well.

THIS goes on my favorites list. And YOU go on my favorites list. And I shall dance and prance and nance in happiness that I have found such a good author writing such good tales, about GLORFINDEL!!!!!!

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. The more I read of your works, the more awed I am.

I've often wondered at the relationship between Elrohir, Elladan, and their father. You've captured the darker side of what I imagine it to be with utter perfection. And Glorfindel--wow! What a force! His impact can be felt right through the computer screen. :)

You've got an amazing sense of style and prose... Oh it's incredible. It's rare to find one who can convey images and emotions so sharply, yet you do it with an ease that's astounding.

Thank you for sharing your brilliance with the rest of us! :)

Ugh; gross, guys! Thank goodness Glorfindel was able to knock some sense into them. As my Thranduil said, "It is one thing to hold and honor their memory, but quite another to make an obsession of our grief." Especially if it takes such an unheathy turn as *that*. People are ruined that way. *Injuria non excusat injuriam*. 'One wrong does not excuse another wrong.' A vivid example of how *not* to handle such a situaiton!

This was very compelling. I was tense all the way through reading it. The twins' obsession is rendered in gruesome detail and Elrond's pain for his children is awful. Glorfindel was very impressive. And excellent tale.

I like this, it's very unusual to see such a dark side to Elladan and Elrohir, but goodness knows they have known intense sorrow in their lives. I hope Glorfindel and Elrond will bring them out of this grisly trophy hunting!
