Very often I am glad that that SOA allows more than one review per chapter. I started lately to re-read the "Elf Academy Series." The thought hit me; in 2012 Miss Kaylee was five years old. In our world now, she would be just about finishing High School. In another year or so she might be looking for further opportunities for education or work. She might become a good candidate to be lured to a certain school for tour guides in Wiseman, Alaska! Dreamflower has already written the story showing Legolas deciding not to hold back his heart from making new mortal connections, and the delightful future picture that is "Gabriella's Story". Her offering beautifully fit into the parameters and the spirit of our friend Fiondil's world. An adventure or two in that spirit might be lovely. Author Reply: Hmm, that's a thought! What do you think, Dreamflower? =) Author Reply: With that said, there's just one problem! In Fiondil's "Elf Academy" universe, Tolkien's stories have never been written, whereas in this story, they have. Therefore, to manage what you suggested, we'd have to write another story completely AU to this universe, in which Tolkien had never written any of his works about his mythology.

Oh how I've missed Dreamflower's stories and songs! This was such a lovely treat. (And thanks for including the links you did. I have added them to my want-to-read list. DF's works, of course, are already on the list, but the links here give me something of a starting point.) It is only 8:30 or so, but it feels like midnight (and it's actually well past midnight where we were on holiday up until a few days ago), and I need to call it a night. (I wonder how long it takes to recover from jet lag...) I found where I left off in the longer WIP and look forward to catching up there in the coming days. (((hugs))) to you and DF! Author Reply: Aww, thanks! I'm so glad you've enjoyed our story, and that you've found the links helpful; so has Dreamflower, I'm sure. K.G.

Utterly warm and delightful! Thanks to you, Dear Ladies, we have just spent Yule in Imladris! Greening the halls, a lovely dinner, (probably goose?) and not least, an evening in the Hall of Fire! Having read our good friend Fiondil's tale about a Wiseman Christmas, I know exactly how that little tree came to be there. One wonders, doesn't one, Precious, if memories of this night ever come drifting back to Glorfindel as he charms some young Alaskan tree out of the ground to spend some time in Edelhond. I am very much enjoying how you two are twining this story into Dreamflower's canon of work. Thank you! And while I am here; it is too late for a Christmas blessing. But let me join with all of our friends here in a prayer for a bright and blessed New Year for our too often dark and dreary world. Cheers, Everyone! Author Reply: Amen to that! I'm glad that you've enjoyed our little Yule story, and so is Dreamflower, I know. KG Author Reply: Amen to that! I'm glad that you've enjoyed our little Yule story, and so is Dreamflower, I know. Soon, the sweets were coming in! What an absolutely delightful and happy story. I loved every bit of it. Oh my, Tip and Tulip -- I remember them, Dreamflower! Love to you and Kathy, and may this year bring good things to you both. Author Reply: Yep, Tip and Tulip are a pair of delightful child hobbits that Dreamflower has created. I like how she included a few "Tip and Tulip" stories in "An Unexpected Adventure" (which I hope can soon be recovered!) and in this story. K.G. Glad you liked our story!
