Destiny's Child  by Mirkwoodmaiden 2 Review(s)

“Indeed?” Théodred raised a dark blond eyebrow. “Curiosity abounds. At what time did the King say?”

Ah, I begin to admire him from the start. What a wonderfully whimsical response.

I do love the relationships you sketch here. And I find myself thinking... if they had known what the future held, perhaps they would even have considered throwing open Shieldmaiden training to any young woman, noble and commoner alike.

Author Reply: Lindelea!

Hello! So happy you have a few moments to keep reading. I have really been wanting to know what you think of this story! I am fleshing out Théodred's personality in this story! I am sure it was a close relationship between father and son. And I imagine he was close to his two cousins as well.

If they had known maybe they would have opened the training for Shieldmaidens to the nobility. It would have made Éowyn's life a whole lot easier!

Thanks for reviewing!

Stay safe, Mellon nin!

If she were to train in at least the basics, it might give her an outlet for her grief. You have had your training to give your life structure. She has not.

How wise he is (with your help)!

Author Reply: LOL! Théoden has been quite receptive to my gentle nudgings here and there! :-))

But actually in ROTK in the "Houses of Healing" chapter (?) someone (I think it is Gandalf) says close to that very thing to Éomer.

Thanks for reviewing!

Stay safe!
