Very sweet domestic scenes of Eomer and Lothy, wish they had confessed their feelings around this time, it thrills me to read when they are reunited.

Author Reply: Wow, you've been busy reviewing - thanks so much! But if they had confessed their feelings in this chapter, the story would have been over much quicker ;-)

It is good to see Lothiriel relax at last.

"He groaned inwardly. Would it be any use to point out that in his opinion she looked best when not wearing anything at all?" I thought Lothiriel always insisted on being in the dark?

A very enjoyable chapter.

Author Reply: Hmm, I suppose you have a point! But then Eomer might just be using his imagination here ;-D

Glad to hear you enjoyed the chapter!

This was such a sweet scene. I can see them sitting on the carpet playing on a dark rainy afternoon. But as usual Eomer's timing is bad.

Author Reply: Well, Eomer has nobody but himself to blame for his bad timing - he should have lost more quickly ;-D

Well, he's at least beginning to recognize when he's managed to cram his foot into his mouth! And they are beginning to open up to one another. Too bad they didn't get their ride, but they do have the shared games to remember!

Author Reply: Hi Larner,
recognising you've said something wrong is at least the first step, isn't it! Though no doubt Eomer will manage to put his foot in again. And perhaps they can go for a ride another time.

Thanks for reviewing!

What a lovely, warm, chapter. (I'm sitting here with cold, wet, feet having been caught out in my sandals in just such a sudden storm - perhaps that is why 'warm' came to mind!)

It is so nice to see them comfortable with each other. Such a good memory for Éomer to take with him, too; even better, in some ways, than the one his men, and the servants, would expect him to take from the afternoon.

Author Reply: Hi Wombat,
sorry to hear about your cold feet! But at least the chapter managed to warm you up, I hope.

And I agree with you about the memory - physical attraction is very well, but it's also important in a marriage to have a good time together.
