TolkienScribe's Scribblings  by TolkienScribe 6 Review(s)
Little Jewel Reviewed Chapter: 1 on 2/13/2017
Dear Scribe,

I hope you see this review in your emails. I just want to make sure you are alright. You have been through some tough times lately and I know how hard it can be to try and overcome the obstacles that insist on blocking you from your dreams. I hope I am not bothering you with the emails I have sent you. If I am annoying you, please just let me know and I will stop. I understand that you may want to be left alone and I respect that decision. But for me, as your friend, I find I cannot do that without making sure you are well and that you are still holding out with all the love and kindness and patience I know you possess. You are strong, always remember that. And very special to a lot of people.

May happiness always find you, may the sun always shine on you and may your days always be filled with love, joy, laughter, kindness and goodness.

A dear friend.

Author Reply: Oh my, I didn't even know when you posted this. But thank you so much. This is so touching and thoughtful.

Love that last bit about Faramir's heart - so true - a gentleman and a gentle man, a hobbit in a man's skin IMHO. Love him. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank you! Happy to see Faramir fans enjoying this little scribbling. :)

Love this! Faramir's quality, the gentle heart and the steel that guards it, come through. Please, please, somebody draw a picture of young Faramir with his wolf.

Author Reply: Oh I would love that! If anyone does, I would be happy to see the drawing. Thank you for your review!

Oh, but I love this demonstration of Faramir's special gift. Excellent characterizations.

Author Reply: Thank you. The characterizations were precisely what I hoped to achieve.

I really like how you show Faramir's gentle nature and the fact that he won't easily harm beast. Very nice ficlet. Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. I always assumed Faramir had a gentle had with both men and beasts, mixed with his personality of reason and compassion.

He managed to convey his thoughts to those around him just by varying degrees of silence.

That's a wonderful line. I enjoyed this story very much, and look forward to future tales.

Author Reply: Thank you. More will be coming shortly. :)
