Good story, you've added to my understanding, thanks

Excellent gap-filler. You've done such a good job of showing how the tension and temptation of the Ring were affecting all the members of the Fellowship. The conversations, first between Gimli and Legolas and then between Aragorn and Gimli are so well done. I liked the title with the truth that comes from a juxtaposition of contradiction. And that ending puts me right back into the canon. Well done!

Amazing gap filler-- i liked the ending tension between Aragorn and Gimli the most because it illustrated that the Ring was working its power already. It is interesting to read this because again, it answer the question why Aragorn would choose Gimli. It would be a good gap filler too to hear what Merry and Pippin were thinking as they neared Parth Galen.
Great job and how i missed your writing!

It's always wonderful to see a message in my inbox that Thundera Tiger has a new story posted! It's a rare thing these days. And this new story is as good as ever.

This is a shrewd look at the state of the Fellowship before they're attacked on the Anduin. The subtleties of the Ring's call are well done. As ever, you have a great grasp of the minds of the Fellowship, but most especially Gimli's.

I love what you've done with the setting. The fog sets the perfect mood. And the way you leave it - right where we know what happens next!

Oh, but well done! Right to that last question! Excellent!

I've missed your writings very much. This is a marvelous and insightful conversation.

"You wish to sunder the Fellowship further?"

"We are already sundered, Aragorn."

Conversations between Gimli and Aragorn are so few, and this is such an important one.

Oh! Masterfully done. Beautifully written. You ratchet the tension slowly, shrouding the conflict in the distraction of lush description until it comes to this... He had cursed their blindness only moments before, but how blind had they truly been? How blind were they still?

Very well done. I have missed your writing.
