I have thoroughly enjoyed your story, and it reinforces my ideas about the relationships between the members of Elrond's Family, including Estel, and his mother, Gilraen. As you have so carefully set the stage, I believe that all involved will see some healing through this process, especially Gilraen, who is, and will be, still recovering from her loss of Arathorn. I realize that you must be busy with your life, but PLEASE continue to enthrall me with the next chapter. I have recently added a story (my first one) to Valar Guild, and someday I hope to publish on Stories of Arda as well. Mal sehen! Thank you again.

It's official, lol I Love your Erestor. Wonderful chapter NR, all the characters come to life.
I wish you luck with Gilraen, she doesn't seem to be in a very forgiving mood.

Lovely to see another chapter. I really like Erestor here, too, and I think he is right - Gilraen will not stand a chance when faced with his clear thinking and clear speaking !

They all need a good dose of reality check, of course. I rejoice that Erestor is ready to offer this service!

I was so delighted to see another chapter pop up this evening! I enjoy this story a great deal. I absolutely love your characterization of Erestor: you make him an interesting character in his own right, while also making great use of his status and perspective to deepen our understanding of other character and move the plot along. He would make a good therapist, I think - and I can't think of another fictional family more in need of some therapy. Thanks for sharing your writing! Best wishes to you.

I was really pleased to discover a new chapter - a real May Day treat! And I can see that the twins and Erestor are looking at the problems from the right angles, so hopefully their sense will prevail.

I also can see this being good for the twins, too.

I was delighted to see an update to this story, and it definitely did not disappoint. I think this is the most I've ever like Erestor in a story. Thanks for another lovely chapter!

Ah, this is indeed an excellent plan. We had to do similarly with a child that had been knocked down by a large puppy and who'd developed a phobia toward dogs--we introduced him to smaller dogs who were loving and caring, and finally to a guide dog who made over him when out of harness. The boy recovered from his phobia, and all who knew him were overjoyed!

Now--to tackle both Elrond and Gilraen.
