Let It Snow!  by Nieriel Raina 5 Review(s)

I enjoyed the whole tale - but you might be surprised to know that the bit that pleased me most was actually "Since your father sailed and they became the Lords of Imladris"...

I have said, more than once, to people that as elves rate their existence from the moment of conception, rather than birth, and identical twins are by definition conceived at exactly the same time, then neither of the twins is 'the elder son of Elrond' - they are equal and so would become equal lords unless they chose, themselves, for one to be lord. And Yay! You clearly agree with me!

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

Hey! Someone else who actually read the prologue to LOTR! :D I forget where exactly it was, if it was really in the prologue, or in one of the Letters, but I did read that they were both lords of Imladris and were equals so that is how I portrayed them, although I think they each have their strengths and default to the other in those. :)

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Oh dear, the poor, sheltered ellon! Legolas dear, ladies have eyes. They will watch, and, evidently, they did like what they saw.
I am also certain they did enjoy your blushes, and were disappointed that you disappeared into the treetops so soon. *giggles*

Author Reply: Yes, for all he's seen, he's a bit...naïve when it comes to the ladies. ;)

Thanks for reading!

Oh, but I think that she rather enjoyed it when the young men bathed in her presence, and it must have tickled her so when it was their Chieftain! Poor guy. Loved the chuckling.

Author Reply: *smile* yes, I think she did as well, but she could get away with it. :D Thanks for reading!

I do enjoy soggy Glorfindel and his desire to impress the fish! Heh! Poor Elrond, but I do suspect he will be much happier when he's no longer sneezing the spring days away!

Author Reply: Agreed! Thanks for reading! :)

Aaah. Glorious Spring. When the snow melts, the earth wakes again from her winter sleep.
And when the trees oh-so-generously spread their pollen. Which is why Spring is NOT my faorite time of year. (Birches are my particular bane.)

Author Reply: I love spring, but not the pollen! Thanks for reading!
