Sword Play  by Nieriel Raina 3 Review(s)
CelethReviewed Chapter: 1 on 3/3/2015
Elrond has always been one of my favorite Elves, because of his wisdom, courage and his looks haha (if he looked the male equivalent of the Evenstar, and being a descendant of Luthien the Fair, he couldn't have looked bad, huh?). And all the tragedies that happened in his life just make him more attractive, I guess.

And this painted a beautiful picture, blending his past and present, and even his sons' future as a backdrop to the cute scene with his young twins. Just love it.

Author Reply: Elrond is a new fascination for me. It's only been in the last couple of years that I've taken a real interest in him. It began with an exploration of the character of Erestor, which required me to do some digging into Elrond's character and suddenly, I'm finding he's pretty interesting. :)

Glad you enjoyed the tale. Thank you for reading!

Children do grow so fast. This is a lovely story. Sadly for them all, Elrond's vision was true. The good news is they all lived to see the final triumph.

Author Reply: Thank you! I imagine Elrond's foresight was often a burden, especially when it came to his children. :(

Thank you for reading and reviewing.

Love this piece! Have always loved all stories that happened in Imladris... especially when the authors introduced their own characters... this is great!

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. However, I am uncertain as to what you mean by introducing my own characters, as all characters in this story are canon?

Thanks for reading and reviewing!
