An excellent resolution! Glad to see such an ending to the birthday celebration!

Indeed time and past time to move forward rather than remaining ever trapped in pointless grief. Hurrah that he has been inspired to resume his close relationship with his son, which the child desperately needs.

Author Reply: it was hight time for Aragorn to move onward and enhance the healing of his son. A nudge in the right direction was give and received. Thank you for a much appreciated review, Larner. Lai

Yes! Great climax to this chapter Lai. The meeting at the Inn has been an epiphany for Aragorn and I look forward to learning how hope is realized.

Author Reply: Hi Tina, I do not know what epiphany means - LOL - but Aragorn´s eyes has been opened, I think. Now true healing will come. Thanks to my new turbo-beta-reader the next chapter will come soon. Thanks for reviewing. Lai

I loved Aragorn's encounter at the inn.

Poor Eldarion, but Aragorn must not give up hope.

Author Reply: thank you, Linda. Sometimes it were the little things of life that bring our focus back. Many thanks for a most appreciated Review. Lai

I'd be happy to help you with editing if your original editor is no longer interested. It is a good story, interesting and different that deserves to see the light of day.

Poor Eldarion and poor Aragorn and Arwen.I hope you will continue this.

Author Reply: yes, poor child and poor parents! Aragorn and Arwen will need any help - mentally and physically - they can get. The Story is long finished but my beta has no time for me and so I sadly cannot post. Lai

lai, you have portrayed so well the misery and fear of Aragorn and Arwen and the empathy of their friends. The twins have done their best for young Eldarion, so perhaps now is the right time for Legolas to appeal to the Powers.

Author Reply: I´m so glad the display of emotions worked. Not my usual playground. Legolas is surely at the right place and at the right time to do some good for the boy. Thank you so much for a most appreciated review, Tina. Lai
