Love this story and like the strength the stars and Elbereth gave Aragorn.

So good to see the reassurance each one received from Strider's narrative, including Strider himself.

"It's a lazy wind that comes from the North East as my old gaffer says. It goes right through you instead of going round you."

That's great! :)

I like this story very much. I never get enough of Strider and the hobbits in his care. It's so often the small, silent, unknown moments (such as his thoughts about Arwen and their hope) that says the most about a character.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. My Mum used to say that about the east wind. I'm honoured that such a good Hobbit writer as you should like my story.I love your Strider and Hobbits stories.

Aww...I love this conversation. It seems to flow quite naturally from the weather and their circumstances.
