I love the begining. Great job. Now Elrond has another patient on his hands! Keep it up!

Author Reply: Thank you! Yes, several people told me how they liked the beginning. I was rather pleased myself;-) Yes, Elrond does have a patient on his hands, on that wants to get back home, but is a little more mature than Legolas;-) If you get what I mean.:-) Thanks for the review!

They seem to me to be gradually working their way to recovery, but I don't trust you, Faith! Still, maybe you'll be content with the angst you created in this chapter and won't make still more problems for them.

Author Reply: ! I can't believe you just said that! I'm shocked! You don't trust me? (sniff) lol, just kidding. Yes I am pretty content with the angst but unfortunately for you, there will still be quite a bit of angst for Legolas up ahead as he heals. However Thalion, Miriwen, Thorinell and Lothgil will all have a happy chapter. lol. A nice happy chapter for a change;-)

Wow! Poor Thalion! What's happening to him? (Of course, with my thoroughness and my attention span, I could easily have missed a simple explanation, but I didn't think there was one.)

I'm not entirely sure what is going to happen to Thorinell. My first thought was that he was going to die in a fight with the Orcs, and that Lothgil would never know the truth. I don't know if that's what's going to happen, but in any case I am glad that Morwen sent the letter. Even if he dies (though I hope he doesn't), Lothgil will at least know the truth. (Unless, of course, Thorinell dies and the messenger is waylaid and then Morwen dies too: but we won't go into that.) ;-)

A well written flashback! The child-like faith and innocence of Legolas really touched me.

And poor Legolas, with the physical and emotional pain. I can't imagine what I would do if I saw *my* best friend die like that. *shudders* The memory of Tillio was very sweet. I had a stuffed rabbit once, it was thoroughly ugly. I'm sure Legolas' mother did a better job than whoever made *mine*!

I had a suspicion that with twelve siblings you just might be homeschooled. And as for Algebra... *shudders again* That has got to be one of the things I hate the most. I don't mind Geometry as much, and I don't take Chemistry, and Triganometry (sp?) ;-)... is that the whole triangle thing? I can't remember.

More please!

Author Reply: Whew! Your review was like a chapter! lol. No you didn't miss anything with Thalion, I will explain a little further in detail what happened to him, in a flashback in the battle with the orcs. (hint, hint:-)

lol. No, Thorinell and Lothgil are having a rather rocky start. Thorinell dying? Morwen dying? Oh dear, you just put a thought into my head. And it's not a happy one, but you will have to wait until chapter 16 until you find out what it is;-) ;-)

Yes, poor, poor Legolas. More pain for the poor elf. I had an aunt die, but no one really close. I don't think I could handle the pain of it all. (sigh) Yes, the memory of Tillio is a very sweet scene. I always had a teddy-bear but I didn't really think that that would push it through;-)

lol. Yes, twelve siblings and homeschooled. Final year! Yes! Algebra yikes. Since I am way behind, I haven't had to do geometry or trigahowyouspellit. lol. I have done chemistry though. And I think trigect.ect. is with triangles. Now, what normal teen uses triangles on a daily bases so that he or she would need them? Good grief!
Thanks for the review!

If it's not one thing in this story, it's another! I love it. So now not only do we have Legolas to worry about, but his brother also. And the possiblility of loosing his last sister over the sea as well. I can't wait to see how it all works out.

Author Reply: lol. I'm certainly glad you love it! Yes, there is lots of turmoil and unanswered questions. Unfortunately for you, I won't be posting til next Saturday. (sigh) But there will be nothing to worry about. I hope anyway. lol. Thanks for the review!
