| Awwww! 'Don't let me die. Don't let me die here.' Powerful! And poor Lothgil! Things seem to be falling apart for almost everybody. (And literally for the Easterling!) *shudder* There is one grammar detail that has come to my attention. Take the following sentence from your story: “Get Legolas.” He ordered. In this case, I believe the proper way would be, "Get Legolas," he ordered. When someone's quote would normally end in a period, but there is a tag ('he ordered'), it ends instead with a comma, and 'he' would not be capitalized. If it were a question, the quote would of course end with a question mark, but the 'he' would still remain uncapitalized. Just to let you know. Keep writing! Author Reply: lol. | Poor baby! He needs lots of help, fast! I'll admit, I get sort of confused between all of the different elves we have met here, especially all of Legolas' siblings. More soon please! Author Reply: Yes, poor baby. He does need quite a lot of help. I'm sorry that you get confused. Isn't my intention of course. I know he does seem to have a lot of siblings. But then again so do I, so I can totally relate. Legolas' siblings are. Lomion and his wife Lainiel. Thalion and his wife Miriwen. Loriel and her husband Galador. Tasari and then last but not least Lothgil. Six children in all. A nice little rounded sum;-) I myself have twelve siblings. And nine nieces and nephews. Try that on for size! | |

| Wow, your fierce Thranduil is something. I loved him! And I am also taken with this vulnerable Legolas who doesn't want to die. Great chapter, Faith. Author Reply: (blush) Thanks. I tried hard to portray him and I was rather pleased at how his reactions turned out. I was a bit afraid of going overboard, but from the reactions I got here and FF.net, most have liked him so far;-) Luckily for me of course;-D Yes, Legolas has been through much, but he doesn't want to die. I am already writing ahead trying to get the right emotions for him. Right now I have a total of four complete back-to-back pages written and then tossed in the garbage. lol.
