I was so happy to see another chapter posted for this story. I have so enjoyed your other stories -- not only are they fun and interesting, but there is a depth to them that really draws me (much like the discussion that followed from the observation regarding remaining in fana too long in this chapter). Your work has given me much to think on. I did not start this one, as it was not finished, but seeing this update I am starting it now! :-)

I very much enjoyed this chapter, and am anxious to see in the next what kind of trouble was stirred up by all the news and revelations -- it's always something, and someone... :-P

I read your author's note in the most recent chapter, and will definitely pray for you during this Advent and Christmas season -- I hope you continue to feel better. Thanks so much for writing!

It is good to see the love shown between the Lord and Lady of Arda and their guests. How delightful that the Maiar have visited in the Shire to learn how to cook with true Hobbit mastery!

Now, to see what mischief might be up!

Author Reply: Thanks! Given how unique the Hobbits are in the world, it seems only right and fitting that the Ainur should be fascinated with them, so long as they don't meddle.

What a surprise! I was not expecting the update so fast, it is great. Well, to see what Eonwe has to say....
Thank you

Author Reply: You're welcome! I should have the next chapter ready to post soon. :)

Imagine enjoying "a family meal" with Manwë and Varda! But then, you *have* imagined it, and beautifully. What a delightful chapter.

And I do love this: "Simple things are not dangerous, unless they lead to excess." So true.

Author Reply: So glad you're continuing to enjoy the tale. Thanks!
