The Years Returning  by losselen 3 Review(s)

A fitting paean to the land that bore him and has nurtured him ever, and to that place to which he goes, perhaps as those in Mundberg indicate, across the Sundering Sea. Beautiful prose-poem.

That is beautiful - the whole thing feels very much as I would expect a Rohirric poem or saga to sound, and I can imagine it as a tale told in the Golden Hall in years after as 'Éomer King's words to his son'.

This is a marvelous piece, perfectly suited to Eomer's thoughts and spirit. He will go where he must, like the wind itself, and have no regrets.
